This man, is one of the gods among musicians..he feels it when he plays it..so few left with these mad skills..Thank You Jake.
I went to see Jake at the Lava Lounge, Hollywood, Ca., every Tuesday I could make it.. or maybe it was Monday night, can't quite remember, during the period from @ 1995- 2000 or so.. Such a brilliant performer, and he had a brilliant band at the time. His shows were always lit. I was so inspired, I ended up doing a painting of him called 'Jake At The Lava'. One of my favorite pieces, still with me to this day. Thanks for all of it, Jake!!
