I love the Guitar Toolkit app. It has the tuner, metronome, scales, chord dictionaries, etc…I have a Peterson desktop strobe, but a Snark is always handy.
Love Peterson tuners. I’ve been using the Cleartune app for a really long time. Have you tried that one? For phone interfaces and accuracy it’s the best one I’ve tried. Great visuals for beginning students as well. Also, I use my phone to dial in the frequency of feedback I’m getting when I play live. I can get close to guessing with my ear but I’ll sing the note into my phone and get the exact frequency. Really handy.
Thank you Aaron. Peterson strobe tuners are the first choice for luthiers. ProGuitar app on iOS been also recommended by luthiers too. Personally ear tuning with experience and time of course.🏴👍👍
Nice Aaron I have the Peterson strobe clip which to me is the best ever clip on . I have the “Old School” boss for my other tuner but I did download the T1 pro after your video as I have been watching you for a couple years now and we have many of the same views and opinions.I live in Bristol Va /Tennessee (twin city ) which is the birthplace of country music this is where the Carter Family recorded way back we have a large festival every year that features many genre of music you should come perform some time it’s called Rhythm and Roots 30,000 people plus generally attend
Thanks Mark! What do you think of the T1 Pro? I really like it. I forgot to mention that you can change the accuracy in the settings. I set mine to the most accurate.
I have tried a bunch and my favorite is Airyware Tuner for Iphone. When properly set it is great and do it all. (strobe, temperament, sweetening, etc)
Airyware Tuner Android is one of the best I have used after trying many others.

I used that for years! Unfortunately they stopped updating it a long time ago.

I have Fender Tune on my Android phone but I almost always have real tuners handy. It's extremely rare that I use my phone for tuning.
Flashtune app for free, but often likes to not hear the sound
