    Lisa, I love this post! Thank you so much for sharing your new "adventure" with everyone. I can't wait to try it for myself. I miss your cats and dog in this video. I guess they were asleep. I am glad you are trying new things. It is good that you are willing to venture out and try new things. Thank you again for sharing this with the rest of your following.

      @plj63 Thank you so much! Yes, amazingly the kitties and Charlie were MIA. 😀 It was late, so they were probably napping. 😀 Glad you enjoyed the video. I can't wait to try some more on a bigger scale. 🤔

    Thanks Lisa, I love your bright cheerful style. Necessity is the mother of invention. Matisse did his Jazz series when he couldn’t paint at an easel anymore. He would paint gouache on paper and then cut them out into shapes with scissors. Fabulous!! Best, Gretchen

      @terrenceshannon6229 Thanks Gretchen! ❤️ I'm really enjoying the painting. That being said, I have a pottery show in two weeks, that I need to get ready for! 😀 So I need to get back to pumpkin festival stuff. Thanks! 😀

    Hi Lisa. I love how you've done these.
    Isn't it always the way every time you want something to work, it won't. We all have different likes. For instance, I like the blue one that you don't. It reminds me of icicles. I'm not able to fire my kiln. I moved house, and where I am doesn't have the 3 phase it needs. I can do other craft, but I'm missing my pottery. The hurricane's are terrible. My heart goes out to everyone. I hope your family are okay. Sending them hugs and safety. ❤❤

      @carolynpollack1083 Thanks so much, Carolyn. So sorry you're not able to fire your kiln. Would it be crazy to sell your 3 phase kiln and buy a single phase, or join a pottery studio? I haven't been firing mine much anymore. Since I'm at the rec center teaching so much, I usually end up firing stuff there. The cats have taken over the kiln as a napping place. 😀

    Hi Lisa. Yes, with regard to my kiln, I'm going to sell it and get a single phase, smaller one. The one I have would suit a school or a studio. Hopefully, someone will want it. I've not long ago replaced the elements and the thermocouple, so whoever gets it is getting a good deal. I hope your families made it through the hurricane safely.

    • @WildAcornsArtStudio
      @WildAcornsArtStudio  3 місяці тому

      @carolynpollack1083 It cost our Rec Center $1000. for new elements and a thermocouple for one kiln. So yes, that's worth some money.

    Love it Lisa! Amazing work! Next time when you need a new inkt thing, you can squeeze in the inkt thing when it is in the pen. Carefully, it will make sure the inkt will give you a drop of inkt at the point of the pen and get it started❤ I used to love to write letters with these pens😊

      ❤️ I'm doing well. I made a video last week, and then decided I'd better edit out the mushy parts about not being able to make the pumpkin festival. 😀 So I'm working on that, and a new video while my knee is healing. 😀

    I love to do this type of watercolor as well Lisa. I really enjoy yhis video and have you tried putting salt on your blobs of paint? I use rock salt, table salt and sea salt, so much fun! Thanks for sharing. 🥰

      @WildAcornsArtStudio Very fun Lisa and so relaxing especially after doing pottery! I do layers of rocks, mountains and love the doodles and need to have some printed. What kind of printer did you get Lisa?

    • @WildAcornsArtStudio
      @WildAcornsArtStudio  2 місяці тому +1

      @@cpnotill9264 It's a Canon printer. Let me see if I can find the link. I bought it on Amazon. It was rather pricey, and I've yet to figure out how to get good scans of the artwork to print.
