"I hated the world for not killing me with her..." this is the most dramatic moment of this story. every time I hear these words along with this soundtrack, my nose starts to tingle, and then I start to cry. this is a real masterpiece.
@@cem6730 stfu, the story is literally about someone's struggle with severe PTSD, depression and suicidal ideation. It will most definitely make people more empathetic tear up.
you'd be amazed at how many synthy tracks are slowed ("Paulstretch-ed" these days) tracks. it's great hell even that old NES game Back To The Future had "Power Of Love" sped up a bunch way back nice catch btw
Its hard to replicate the genius sound mixing Health set up, its adaptively using from 6 up to 10 layers of the soundtrack they made, it shifts so fluently in game that it's just unbelieveable, they're the best modern music artists i know today, they tackled this so perfectly. Shame that Rockstar neglects this game. Pause bug sometimes happens every 10 seconds and its really disruptive, and rockstar didnt patch the game after 2012, its just shameful. These automatic pauses mess with the soundtrack, because it just doesnt pause and pick up, it restarts from other layers and cancels previous fadeouts and mixing. And when game automaticly pauses for no reason every couple seconds several times in row its really bad :/
The way I see it, the fact that Rockstar is leaving Max Payne (the franchise) to bite the dust is a good thing, because the alternative would be to see it somehow milked to the same extent as GTA.
@Germaine Vorkuta Exacly i really hope that they will remake first two games in style of MP3 and fixed up and rereleased Max Payne 3 remastered for newer consoles and pc and first Red dead redemption on pc too. They have tons of money and they dont use it for good.
Can't thank you enough for putting this outstanding and phenomenal piece of art together. It's one of the most tense and most depressing themes i've ever heard.I remember standing in the cemetery just to listen to this exquisite stuff.
“Look man! Just give yourself up! Maybe DeMarco will have a change of conscience. Grant you one last reprievement! Ain’t no reprievement gonna be found otherwise!”
I feel like this soundtrack represents hatred and pain. I really feel something bad inside of me coming from this track. And it’s more present when playing this level and killing a bunch of gangsters
It's something that has to happen. It's his last time in New Jersey. It's going to be Dirty. Deadly. Dangerous. And Necessary. But he's been prepared ever since the 1st Game. With his Family being murdered, it was haunting him until he brought Justice to a random Family in Sao Paulo. Or should I say Families since Passos and Giovanna made it out alive but the Bronco Family didn't. But now Max literally once the game ends is at peace with his final good dead of being a Pain in the Ass to those who deserved it.
The beginning of the soundtrack has the feeling of every enemy that max Payne has killed and are looking over his shoulder in the afterlife telling him to move on and let go of the past.
Rip James McCaffrey.. your voice talent is what made this game.. go in peace

there's plenty of room for the Demarco mafia

This is my favorite chapter of Max Payne 3. I love that during the cutscene and shootout you can hear Rose crying.

Some another NJ theme was also the slowed down version of Max Payne 2 violin theme. HEALTH did good job with the MP3 soundtrack.
