Like Boya has said, they only have met a few days. But damn... the love and trust between them is unparalleled and very believable. I knew from the start that Boya would be the key for Qingming to perfect his protective spell, but the actual scene really made me cry.

Just watched this movie yesterday and was super surprised by the accidental homoeroticism/BL vibes between Qingming and Boya. The whole time I thought I was watching a movie with two male leads who only had a friendship until the last couple of scenes where Qingming becomes the titular Yin Yang Master out of sheer desperation to protect Boya, the person he's grown to love. And all the pining between them in the finale??? I hope the sequel gives them a happy ending. ❤

I'm addicted to this movie... Their acting, chemistry and emotions are so realistic. Each and every part of this movie are so interesting that you wouldn't dare to skip a second. I have already watched it three times. But can't get enough of it.. The graphics of this movie just so perfect. I know nothing comes perfect, but for this movie i would like to give 10/10. I couldn't find any mistakes in this movie. The best part was boya with black wings and the giant snake. Wow, the snake gave me goosebumps. Thanks to the especial effect team.They tried their best to make the visual effects of the wings so natural and they succeed. I hope they would make it as drama. If drama isn't possible, i would love to see this movie as second part but with same cast.....

but wasn't the script writer/producer was caught on a plagiarism case? This movie was even taken down on the first week of the premiere around China. If your updates are legit/official, I really hope that the cast will be the same. If I wasn't wrong, the title is gonna be "The Retaliation" , right? What I truly love is that their potrayal and how they deliver the lines quite similar to how Seimei and Hiromasa potrayed in novel, and add more complexity and depth into it. Mark Chao and Deng Lun are the best 💯👍 Wang Duo too, love his role in Bloody Romance and this too.
I didn't know it was a gay movie when I watched this. But as I watched through the movie, I just felt something, I can't explain it... Something, something that isn't straight! XD I just felt the chemistry and assumed that they were flirting with each other, turns out right!!! I loved it, when Boya almost died in the labyrinth, I can feel Qing Ming's pain and panic.

I love their story. I never get bored of the Yin-Yang Master, and their chemistry is so good. I do hope that it’s a serial rather than a movie hahaha but either way the Yin-Yang’s master is a chef’s kiss based on the story, the production, and the CGI. Kudos!

There should probably be an edit for how many times and how much emotion went into qingming saying “Boya”. He was practically brimming with love. But i love the cinematic effects of Ying Yang master absolutely gorgeous wished they gave the other spirit guardians more stronger powers though. Love your edit i believe “Beautiful Mess” is quite apt for Boya and Qingming.

I watched the movie yesterday without knowing much about it and with no expectations and the story made me really happy. It was such a nice surprise

Similar to The Untamed, there's no intimate scene or whatever but just by the way they look at each other show how much they cherish and care for each other. 2 hours went by very fast because I love every moment of it!❤ Definitely worth watching especially if you like bromance!😋

This is not a BL but you can say that they do develop deep feeling for each other. They both are a priest. It would wrong if it a BL movie. Anyway, love wins. If this a BL movie, Boya would stop Qingming and they would kiss (just like we all want), but again, this movie is about a priest saving the world. Let just appreciate the people who want to put queer sentiment in this movie. Its spectacular!
