I did everything exactly as you stated. My issue is I can't get it to turn for it to feed. It's locked up once everything is put together. How can I solve that?

I just replaced the crappy OEM one that came on my Ryobi 40v system with the speed feed 400. It is lightyears better that the Ryobi one.
