    OMG the OG Jessica who created this was why I started making cups. She made beautiful pieces of functional art. I'm glad someone is trying to keep her designs going. Thank you for recreating it, as it should be loved by many.

    Its Beautiful!!! It almost looks like those "river tables" or "river boards" where they take two pieces of wood and place them a few inches apart and or where it has a big crack in it and they fill those spot with coloured epoxy....looks amazing!!

    Definitely a unique twist on a geode! Kind of reminds me of the fault line cakes! So so pretty and feel like the Flynn supply shop epoxy will put that uv protection to the test! ❤❤

    Jessica, this is an overall question about a white Tumblr. I purchased a white Tumblr from Amazon not for sublimation just a plain white steel Tumblr how would you start to apply epoxy to these? What do you have to do to prep?

    • @FlynnSistersBoutique
      @FlynnSistersBoutique  2 роки тому +1

      I would prep it exactly how you would normally. Just a light sanding and clean up with alcohol

    Is there a reason for the first glitter coat using epoxy? Would Tack It not be strong enough?

    • @FlynnSistersBoutique
      @FlynnSistersBoutique  2 роки тому

      I prefer epoxy to adhere glitter for a better bond and longer working time

    • @MPARKS27
      @MPARKS27 2 роки тому

      @@FlynnSistersBoutique Yea, I should’ve followed your lead on that. I tried it with “tack it” a little while ago. It turned out a little thin with the glitter coat, and lost a bit more glitter when I did the dye. Looks alright, but would’ve been better with epoxy. Thank you for your help.

    When are you going to restock the smaller bottles of epoxy? I’d like to try it before buying the big bottles of it.

    • @FlynnSistersBoutique
      @FlynnSistersBoutique  2 роки тому

      We did restock them last Friday but it was a small shipment. We’re hoping to get more in soon but the winter storms delayed a lot not to mention the holiday
