      I am a new member to nationwide, is there any eligibility criteria to get the card ?

    • @sidkings
      @sidkings 8 місяців тому

      @@shiva-hy4wk You can do an eligibility check on their website. But if you're new they may not give it. Generally best to wait a few months before applying.

      You are so right! He’s just doing this video for the algorithm probably. Not really to help viewers. Also, I think he’s getting big incentives from AMEX! So, this is more of a SALES video for Amex!

      @@Mmmezmira Thank you for the reply, I dont know if your right but i do agree with you its i guess its for algorithm, Whts the point just to get views its no help to people? if there is nothing much to speak about and no new deals why put this out...

      It's good for people who's just discovered this channel (like me) and consistent videos help new viewers get an overall idea and most recent information regarding basic things. So, kudos to that.

    Thank you so much for all the information Still don't understand all but better than it was before your explanation.
    I never had a credit card and other than mortgage and small fees,I don't have anything coming off my card.
    I pay everything but not actually from my card .
    And now I want to buy holidays,but can't quite afford them ,they so expensive and some one told me about it that she buy the holiday with one credit card then she pays it off with an other one that was Virgin .
    So I went checked out and I'm not eligible.
    What do I do so my score would change for a better soon ,not in years ?

      Or use them properly and never pay interest, that way it’s no different than a debit card but you benefit from boosting your credit score.

    I know you said not to ask this, but I'm going to ask anyway....If I am a Vitality insurance product holder, wouldn't the clear winner be the AMEX Vitality Cashback card? It encourages you to work-out and in return you could earn in theory £310 per year in cashback on a £12k spend. No annual fee either.
    I can't see how its possible to get the same value back in points or cashback from any other card with the same spend 🤔

      If you have high salary you can get large credit limit. Use that for all your purchases and put your actual money into maxing isa or hell you can put it into saver account. 10k = 500 at 5% per year. Cards can be interest free for 18 to 20 months. Easy money.

    • @sonny8085
      @sonny8085 22 дні тому

      After that finishes, credit card interest rates go up into the double digits.

    I've not had a credit card before however am eligible for most cards due to a strong score from debit. I was thinking Amex gold (free for the first year) then downgrading to amex cash back everyday card. What do you think? Ps annual income is £23100, age 25

    This year i will travel a lot and estimated to spend 30k on hotels, dining and travel miles i need a card that will allow me to do this and receive rewards. Most cards i looked at have 10k limits and the rewards add up to pennies maybe 300 pound in cashback over the year. Whats the point but with the amex 10k limit it is even less

    Thank you for providing the information. I am currently looking to build my credit score to qualify for a property purchase. Despite having a salary of £27,500, my applications for M&S, Barclaycard, and Tesco Bank have been declined.
    Could you please provide guidance on how I can improve my credit score and increase my eligibility for credit cards?
    Thank you very much for your assistance.
    Best regards,
    Iman

    The more i listen to the benefits of credit cards, the higher the conviction that they are in almost all cases completely useless. Except in those country where they look a your credit score to see if you are a good worthy boy
