Seven gallons! Why? I used to burn stuff like this starting with small pieces and building it up, and I wouldn't try to burn snow covered wet wood. Why aren't you throwing more stuff on top of the flames? Take the stuff of fire number two and put it on fire number one. This is the worst and most inefficient way to burn stuff I've ever seen.
I had accumulated 7 gallons since the last time Burned a brush pile. I used it all because I wanted to get rid of it, not because that amount was required. In spite of the snow, I suspected that the fires would take off because most of the brush had been in the pile for 3 or 4 years. The video was intended o show my technique to dispose of waste fuel and start a brush pile on fire. Thanks for sharing your opinion.
The burn piles were on the property when she bought it. I used all of the accumulated old fuel I had, not because that quantity is required. If the wood is dry, it shouldn't take much to get the fire lit.

@@OldGuyDIY O.K. Thanks.
Why two piled 30 feet apart? Built many burn piles on the farm. With a lot less fuel and a little more work. Thanks anyways!
