Why do so many people assume that christians who don't believe in the principle of tithing somehow automatically give less than 10%? One can reject tithing and routinely far exceed 10%. I'm uncomfortable with the notion that those who've given a tithe feel they've given to God exactly what's required of them as a duty, rather than acknowledge that 100% belongs to God, and reflect this in their giving. For those who want to make a biblical case for tithing, they would do well to remember that biblically 3 tithes were required by God in the OT equalling around 27%, not 10%. All that aside, I really enjoyed this video of two of God's servants. I've just purchased Randy's book on heaven. Eagerly awaiting delivery 😃
Tithing is no longer the rule. Many pastors and teachers get this wrong and squeeze the congregation because they don’t know what else to do. 2 Corinthians 9:6-9 The Cheerful Giver [6] The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. [7] Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. [8] And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. [9] As it is written, “He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.”
Daily, I ask the Lord to tell my mama I miss her and love her, and to tell her I will see her soon in Heaven.
Best book on Heaven I have ever read as well.
So encouraging & edifying! Thank you pastors! Praise God🙌🏼❤️
