The "DOLL" is tied to the lyrics. The song is about taking a chance. Or are you going to sit in your parents basement playing with your dolls while working at a fast food restaurant, or are you going to throw the dice and take a chance to take off the blindfold and walk into the light of the real world.
i saw the doll as representing the girl/sheltered life. in one shot both are blindfolded.. the way she cradles and treats it so delicately.. over-protective, afraid to take risks etc
Miku! She's adorable, talented and HILARIOUS.. Also quirky and a completely goofball. You should check out a live show with the omajinai time. It's when the members take a break (but remain on stage) and Miku entertains the crowd with her cute maid cafe routine.. A call and response with the crowd. Always funny.
Here's my take on DICE's lyrics, BG: I know the "dice" have already been thrown (as in her lyrics), but I choose to look at it as stop being indecisive, sitting in a dark room playing with dolls (TV, phone, toys, games, etc.). "Seize the moment", roll the dice, open your eyes, and walk into the light! Miku's lyrics, especially after translation, can be a bit cryptic - open for interpretation, as are all poems and lyrics. But their music is always right on point which melds the two into wonderful songs of possibilities!
Not annoying I just get so many requests. You should join the twitch streams and drop links for me to check out there! If I dig em, I shoot a reaction for them the next day 🤘
@@LocalBandSmokeout Miku is awesome. She puts a lot of secret sexy lyrics in the songs. 'Candy or the whip which do you like' 'One moment of pain ten moment of delight'. I don't think they're very secret personally. It seems to me like people are living in denial. There is a song called 'Turn me on' another is 'Rock in me'. Doesn't seem real subtle.

I have an American tour coming up soon. Everyone is looking forward to it. A great maid will come from Japan. Don't be surprised because it's an amazing stage.
The hand-off between MISA and Kanami is one of the great moments in rock. This was the third song I heard from them and it pretty much nailed me for good.
Miku is also vice turbo poker champion of Japan (first try) and does all the industry negotiations. "She always comes out with everything she asks for, plus their wallets and carkeys". They are definitely a real band who started out touring together in a Toyota hiace van. Nothing factory made here.
You should check out their video for Yolo, it is just amazing and similar in tone. The second vocalist is Miku Kobato, the group's founder. If you haven't done already, you have to react to Onset, th best rock instrumental in 50 years.
@@armynurseboy Yeah, Champ's from Jersey, right? I'm from the south. Ry Cooder, Johnny Winter, Billy Gibbons, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Duane Allman, Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks; those are the southern rockers. I love Kanami and Band-Maid, but they don't ever play 12-bar blues. She uses pentatonic scales a lot, and throws in the blue notes from time to time. "The Dragon Cries" is probably as close as they get, but they're too high energy for genuine Southern Rock. It's too hot down here to play with that way. We just want a guitar, a coricidin bottle and rocking chair. Maybe a fan and a bottle of bourbon. And our bloodhound keeping company on the porch.
Hey Weedman, have you discovered a Rock band comparable to BAND-MAID? I only have time for one full time band but I'll try to squeeze in another if they're on this level. Peace. 8.45
maybe try something different from them next time? Wonderland, Gino Cho (Band Maiko),bubble and accustic live...etc and if you really want some interesting lyrics, try one of their OLD songs Don't let me down, the song is in English and make sure you have the lyrics open while watching the MV.
I assume you mean you like Miku just based on appearance? She is amazing in many ways but she is for sure the weakest musically- tho she has become very good on rythmn- and her vocals are fantastic- and so are her lyrics.

Your favorite maid is named Miku, and she's the one that started the band! She is an 810 year old pigeon and an inspiration to all and sunder.

Lead Maid? Sounds about right 👌
Miku Kobato - Front Pigeon - She is a tiny force of nature. Miku puts her heart and soul into whatever she does, and what a wonderful soul it is.

IMHO..the greatest hard rock band around, and probably for the last 30-40 years or so! They're that great!
The trend will continue with the next and next and next and next and next they will take you on a ride of utter enjoyment everytime.
That's Miku- the found, lyrics writer and rock behind every thing about this band.

MISA!!! MISA!!! MISA!!! 🥃🥃🥃 Band-Maid's Live version of their songs are usually 10times better than their MV'S but Dice is one of the few exceptions
Absolutely true.👍

Sayonakidori is a limited time acoustic that will be taken down shortly on their UA-cam featuring Miku the singer you like.
Misa my favorite I mean I’m a bass player myself but honestly these ladies are all amazing (:
If you like Dice, you'll like over 100 other Band-Maid hit songs, too! What a great prospect to have in front of you! 🤘😛🤘 Thx, BG!
Great!

Look for the song "rock in me" live, Miku sing this song while Saiki (the vocalist) take a rest.
