We certainly look forward to your next visit to Keyboard Exchange International Tia! Please put us on your schedule for another visit to Sanford Florida on your next trip to Florida.
Tia, your playing is fantastic and the bass foot thing is mind blowing. BUT, your sheer physical command of your instrument including your almost nonchalant switching of the Leslie was really a treat to behold. Thanks.
I don't know how I got here, thanks UA-cam algo...One of the most pleasant rabbit holes to go down! Tia is AMAZING! I haven't met her in person, but that there seems like the happiest Tia ever!
Good to see someone still repairs/restores the Hammond b3 and etc. I repaired the whole Hammond line for ten years between 1978 and 1989 for a local dealer. I absolutely love the Hammond/Leslie speaker sound! This brings back many memories!
Hello Harry! Where are you living these days? You were working on newer Hammonds that came after the tone wheels which stopped being built in 1974. I bet you still saw your share of tone wheel organs if you worked for a Hammond dealer! We have several Elegante models in stock that could use some work and that need a new home!
@@KeyboardExchange I live and am retired in Pittsburgh, PA. The local dealer was Fulton Piano and Organ company (the organ service department was later sold to Ambrose Jackson Co. and I worked for them for several years). I saw many, many tone wheel Hammonds in those ten years!
@@KeyboardExchange I'm sure you do:)) If I lived next door to her she be so tired of me begging her to play all day long😂 Those unexpected changes are so great.
Your church must never have an empty seat on the Sundays you play!!!!!!! Really, "Going Up Yonder" your giving me goosebumps!! Please stop!! One of my favorites of all time!! Nive!! Thanks, U!
Dang Gurl!! Shout out to Florence SC!! My home spot!! No wonder she's so dang good!! SC & NC are the states for the gospel music and musicians!!! Yes Tia!!!

Our church got our C3 organ from Keyboard Exchange, International. That sounds like RANDOLPH in the background playing We! We love them here in Riverview, FL
We need to contact Tia and try to get her to come back for another visit soon! HEY TIA! Come back by popular demand and invitation. You know you are always welcome!
The sound of a B3 penetrates areas beyond my soul! To say that I feel it, is an unjustfied statement on my behalf. It moves me to unbelievable, unfathomable depths. I literally lose my mind at the sound of a B3, no matter what genre it is included in. Wheather I go to heaven or hell when I die, THERE BETTER BE A B3 IN THE HOUSE.. ❤️🙏🎶🤪
I still remember the first time I heard a Hammond with a Leslie! It allows me to well understand your comments. We thank you for commenting. If you want to be certain where you will be going when you pass, ask any pastor who will help you understand how you can be sure of where you will be going. It is so much better to know...in advance! Somehow I feel you do already know and I wish you well. Thanks again for your comment! Once last thought...hearing my first Hammond with Leslie changed my life in so many good ways!
My uncle sold music instruments and repaired Hammond organs. He saw my kid's curiosity about chords and spent thirty seconds showing me the frozen finger method.
Thanks for your question David J. Duvall! The B2 model came before the B3 and the B2 was manufactured between 1949 and 1954. When "percussion" was invented, Hammond added percussion and changed the model number to B3 and C3. Thus, the main difference between a B3 and a B2 is the percussion feature. There are some other differences for example most of the B2/C2 models had "ratchet" style drawbars which are rough pulling rather than smooth pulling. The tubes in a B2 are also older and bit more difficult to find especially if you do not know where to access them..... Some people will trade in their B2 to us toward a B3 and usually since the B2 may have seen better days and in need of replacement. A MINT condition B2 using only rarely in a home would be a treasure to find and we like to find mint condition instruments. Sometimes it is said that condition is everything!
