Just came back from an amazing two week trip in Israel. Spent Purim in Jerusalem, went to my nieces wedding, spent time with family and went to my father's grave for his yartzeit.
I go to many country’s including Isreal, were there could be problems, but that would never stop me, peace and love ❤️

I have been blessed to visit Israel 3 times and I studied abroad in Israel this past summer. Something that I truly admire about the people of Israel is their resilience. You’ve been “blessed” to visit a country built on the ground of so many graves of innocent people. Israel was created by ethnically cleansing every city that was once all Arab majority. This video exactly what we needed. In less than 3 weeks I’m also flying to Israel after almost 3 years and also hearing from Israelis and other tourists that it doesn’t really matter that there were such devastating acts of terror recently.
Gonna spend my time in Haifa, Akko, Jerusalem and quite a few more cities.

Visited Israel with my wife and two sons aged 12 in Dec 2019. Is recommend visiting unreservedly. Jerusalem, Tel Aviv both wonderful. Mitzpe Ramon and the Negev was a lot of fun as well. I felt safer in Israel than I do in most major US cities right now. And, yes, the food is terrific - best ice cream I’ve ever had was in Jaffa. Israelis love their sweets!

I lived in Israel during 1978-79 when bombs placed on buses were the chief threat. One went off near the Tel Avi bus depot two hours after I passed through. I didn't worry, not because there weren't risks, but because I felt the risks were being competently handled.
That said, I can understand why people living in cities such as NYC and particularly Jews on elite university campus worry. There the levels of crime and violence are not only high but incompetently dealt with by the city politicians and university administrators.

you are more likely to be unsafe in London or Edinburgh or Barcelona, Palma or even Marbella than be unsafe in Israel. The only time I felt even remotely unsafe was when visiting friends in Yated and the security alarms went off in the night. Even in JLM at night listening to the automatic gunfire from the arab villages in the distance wasn't scary, it might have been because we were among friends and Jerusalemites.

Generally its safe - if you avoid dodgy regions in the west bank - but occasionally you get an intifada when you need to exercise care
I might be traveling to tel Aviv soon, I was hesitant because of the attacks, but some radicals won't stop me from loving Israel 🇮🇱❤️
