You're right, it works for armored train too, one time, i played as driver of the armored train on Mosse-Argonne, i hated that game bc no one was marking the enemy, i was completely blind and i couldn't see anyone, i hate the fact of cann't mark the enemy while i am on driver seat (Sorry if i wrote with bad english)
When you're captaining a Dreadnaught, you need to be considerate of the turret operator in the rear of the ship. So don't just point the bow of the ship towards the enemy forces and go to town with your guns, turn the dreadnaught "broadside" so that your rear turret can also fire on the enemy forces.
@@JulianCBlancas2 no you can’t. I’ve tried many times. I was playing empires edge operations and I got the main seat on the ship. I was trying to move it so I can get better aim with the cannon but it doesn’t move. I tried the left stick. Triggers. Dpad. Doesn’t work. It doesn’t move
@@l750z_6 idk man i just searched on google and it says you can move the dreadnought and i remember being able to move it. Maybe you can only move it in conquest because i never played operations.
Where was this thing in Battlefield V?Imagine being able to fire all 9 or even just 6 of the Iowa’s 16” guns; or, better yet, even the Yamato’s 18.1” guns!
I got 30 kills with this thing in 1 round. Thanks for the people spotting and told other people to spot. if there are not spotting I would be aiming for field gun and coastal gun.
for me, the train gives me so much more fear factor because of its sounds. you can hear it aiming at you. Dreadnaughts you can hear the guns firing but you wouldnt know who its aiming. If a train starts shooting mortars and you can hear it, then its almost all the time you.
A dreadnought would be impossible not to see if it entered coastal waters to bombard enemy positions with salvos of hellfire. These ships were massive leviathans. Surely the sight of something so enormous with big guns would break or weaken enemy morale. The horns were used more as a signal of types, but I imagine hearing an enemy dreadnought sound her horn would bring much fear to the hearts of soldiers. The distant thunder, followed by the whistle of the shells traveling through the air would be immensely terrifying, for you would be at the mercy of this monster of the seas. However, dreadnoughts in WW1 were expensive and time consuming to build, so they would only really ever use them if it was an extremely vital operation. The Brits did use dreadnoughts against Ottoman coastal positions to bombard fortified areas, but destroyers would probably be greater in quantity.
I think it's just a glitch, since you can see the player is on the British team and is controlling the dreadnought. Plus I don't think defenders in Operations even get a behemoth, except under circumstances like being absolutely crushed on the first map.
Broadside ALWAYS maximizes firepower and gives teammates a chance to kill as well. Watch for PT boats when aiming to target them aim further in front flight time from barrel to impact point at half the max range of the guns is about 3 seconds use this to your advantage. Teammates keeping planes and other boats off you is also key in your team having the BB support the entire game.
That's an Iorn Duke Class Super Dreadnought. She has a main armament of ten 13Inch guns in five twin turrets. The super dreadnought that proceeded this class was the Queen Elizabeth Class Super Dreadnoughts.
I once had the armored train before. I used the engine's main cannon to blow up a building with a turret on it. Killed like a bunch and used the whistle as a taunt. Every single bastard of the enemy team started to pelt the train. It was worth it too. Damn cab had nice detail of the train.
You must go closer to the target so that the AA guns can work too. Going behind the castle and the AA guns can shoot the smal torpedoboats when they spawn. At the same time they can shoot down incomming planes. Also in this position no canons can hit you. Yes the behemot will be hit, but from far distance it only give kills to the captain and dont help the team.
I find that the dreadnought is the best in Cape Helle’s because there’s no torpedo boats constantly swarming you and you can just focus on supporting infantry

One way to make the dreadnought more powerful is to have a squadmate play as a scout and spot everything for you.
You're right, it works for armored train too, one time, i played as driver of the armored train on Mosse-Argonne, i hated that game bc no one was marking the enemy, i was completely blind and i couldn't see anyone, i hate the fact of cann't mark the enemy while i am on driver seat

better yet, a biplane with flares, it's faster and helps to defend the ship to other boats too
I'm always the scout guy, but the driver never cooperates :')
or gain controls of the secondary armament along with the main guns
Or you hop on a st chamond, find a height and flash the spotting light down on the map, you’ll pretty much spot the entire enemy team
