And AVH's second round is straight up fire which I can genuinely listen on a daily basis... I think i'm leaning towards BreZ, because the mix is always something you can polish later (with a producer for example) while the ideas and the composition is of the Artist only. Just an opinion though, congrats to both for a splendid battle! :)

Dlow I noticed you didn't complain about the buildups in this one. Was that because people in the last video convinced you or is it because these two performers have the skill to make the buildup good? Because if its the latter I think that writes massively to the point that the fact you don't enjoy the buildups some times is a skill issue rather than a competition issue.
This was a great battle for sure so very close. I did want Brez to win but to be fair I am a little bias since I think he has such a good stage presence. He never fails to entertain any time he is on stage.

Then he had to stay for like a month in Taiwan because he couldn't continue flying and now he has probably permanent hearing loss on his one ear (I think it was something around 70%)

When not even the opponent was able to confirm their own victory, it is clear that there is persecution from the judges, even with the sound turned down, BreZ, as always, gave an excellent performance
I feel like BREZ was breathing really hard which affects vocals, and maybe something else also interfered the perfomance so he didn't do as well as he could. In the same time AVH shocked me with quality, mix, and atmosphere of that tracks, filling the void I didn't know was empty before even though I was rooting for BREZ 100%, this result is pretty fair (unlike 2021 one, that was BS)

as you mentioned before you’d like buildups to be quicker or even pre recorded before the battle, AVHS first round is a perfect example on why i disagree, hearing the progression is what makes looping imo.
