The Panagbenga 2024 themed with "Let a Thousand Flowers Bloom" had its 28th Festival Grand Street Dance Parade Saturday Morning, February 24.
The streets of Baguio were filled with thousands of locals & tourists from different provinces including foreign visitors to witness show. The parade features marching bands and street dancers competing for this Annual Festival.
Originating from the Kankanaey dialect, the term "Panagbenga" translates to "season of blooming.” It goes beyond showcasing a stunning array of flowers. Panagbenga also symbolizes the flourishing of diverse cultural elements. At the heart of the celebration is the grand street dance parade, where musical bands and street dancers adorned in vibrant floral costumes traverse the city streets.

Off peak season ba kaya di ganun ka crowded or crowded parin, hindi lang halata 😂
No malawak na ang baguio and medjo concious na ang tao sa crouded kaya konting iwas2 sa so much crouded .hmm

That's what I noticed too. I know most of us from Baguio prefer to watch the parade on tv to avoid the overcrowded business district for better view. Maybe also because of the many restrictions implemented by the city

Not so crowded this time? Nadala na mga bisita. No parking spaces, traffic na di mahulugan karayom, public transport ay kulang o pahirapan lalo na mga taxi, exorbitant prices ng mga pagkain at tirahan, kung bakit lagi gusto ng mga negosyante ay profits to the max, nadudumihan sa palengke lalo na sa wet market, kulang ang mga comfort rooms sa mga pasyalan kaya mas gusto mag sm na lang din sila, mainit na ang Baguio. Turista pa more? Ako tanungin ayoko kasi gusto ko sana maaliw hindi nai stress. Bakasyon nga e kaso super stressed naman e di wag na lang.
