Very nice Standard fixtures! And the Windows logo, that's funny!
I LOVE the urinals!
Vintage restrooms is EXCELLENT rating
That bathroom is absolutely amazing great find!
Amazing restroom! The first urinal sounded like a kohler pressure assist toilet! 0:31
H.O.L.Y C.O.W!!!!!!!!!!!! :-O Epic finds man!
5:53. That Microsoft logo sticker doe
Whoever had the idea to "renovate" this bathroom should be socked in the face.
When will people learn that water that is used for bathrooms gets recycled and used again. You can never really waste water because no matter where it goes it’s gonna end up back in the water cycle.
This is just Incredible!
That Standard Madera with the Sloan Crown was probably the only one here that still flushed with all five gallons.
Bathroom looks fine to me, it doesn't need to be renovated.
+MajesticBaldEagle96
I don't want it to be renovated, but sadly, they might renovate it, because the building is getting a "green renovation".
Is there a possible way to request having one of the fixtures so you can do flush tests with them?
MajesticBaldEagle96
It might be possible, but I have very limited space to store plumbing fixtures, and I am not sure if my parents would want me to get another one.
@@toiletfan1 What do you mean by " GREEN" renovation, there's nothing wrong with any of those fixtures.
Don't quote me on this without some sort of confirmation, but the old flush valve on the first toilet may very well be a Crane Boston.
I sadly heard that there is a law that if there is any building renovations that includes plumbing in California then they HAVE to replace the fixtures with low flow stuff. ;-(
+The Vintage Toilet Hunter
Sadly, I have heard they might be adding a restroom to the 1st floor. That would likely confirm the replacement of these toilets sadly if so.
:-( what toilets are on the 1st floor and basement by the way?
The Vintage Toilet Hunter
1st floor: Modern (I think newer Kohler Dexter urinals and previous gen American Standard Afwall toilets, but I didn't pay too much attention because it was a boring renovated restroom).
Basement: A mix of modern American Standard and block logo American Standard fixtures (the block logo fixtures are a Jetbrook urinal and 2 Glencos, 1 sadly clogged).
I think the 4th floor has low tank toilets, but I didn't manage to get into that restroom. I will go back here if I can before the building closes for renovation.
THE DEVORO IS THE ROUND BOWL MADERA
How long will this building be closed until renovations are completed?
Epimazing washroom!!!
I'd think that a place like that would be in the national register of historic buildings, which means that they can't renovate anything.
5:53. Did anyone else notice the Microsoft Windows sticker?
With how many vintage toilets there are still on the UC Berkeley Campus, it's sad that they tore out all the vintage MadStones and 1917 Crane VitroWare toilets/all vintage fixtures out of the Wheeler Hall.
Would love to have those vintage chrome flush valves if they're removed during the renovation. Some of those toilets & flush valves appear to have been replaced a long time ago like you said in the description.
Holy cow!
5:53 WTF? This looks like a WINDOWS logo.
World War I & II-era fixtures
WOW
I hope the toilets go to a savage yard :)
David New I think he's talking about the kind of place where they restore and sell old plumbing fixtures.
I think the 1955 Standard logotype (greenish blue) was only briefly used on this old generation of the Lucerne lavatory (plate numbers F365 / F367 / F369).
flushes likes highcrests, not loud though
Nice!!!!!!! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
The urinals were great. Some however did not flush perfectly.
At 5:53, there is a Windows logo on the flushometer in the 5th stall. I don't know why...
I like to assume these are Enarc models
miss old all gone!
A Microsoft Windows sticker on one of the flushometers...the what?
Restroom doesn't look bad to me...
When did Crane acquire J.L. Mott? Those were modified Silentis toilets, if I am not mistaken......
Very nice restroom where is this restroom located?
+toiletfan1 was there any unlocked restrooms when you went here?
The Vintage Toilet Hunter
The restrooms in the basement and on the 1st floor are unlocked, but they are renovated (1st floor has modern fixtures, basement has a mix of modern and 1970s fixtures). The 3rd floor women's room was unlocked, but I am not sure if it was supposed to be unlocked. The 4th floor restrooms are locked. I think those restrooms have the same bowls but on low tanks. I hope to go back and try to film those restrooms.
toiletfan1 what toilets were on the 1st floor and basement floor?
Standard toilet!
That vitro ware kinda looks like a JL Mott toilets
I WILL SOON ON MONDAY IN U.C.BERKELEY CHECH WHEELER HALL, AND URBAN ORE. YOU NOT GO TO URBAN ORE?
I didn't go to Urban Ore. Sadly, I think this building is closed for renovations.
I know will soon on Monday I see video I WILL SCARED. (: O: ): D: D8 DX.
OOMMFFGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First toilet is a bit broken.
1917 Crane Vitroware
Do you mean 2 Madras?
One of the "Standard" toilets is a Madera (elongated bowl) and one is a Devoro (looks similar to a Madera but is round bowl)
I saw dat.
It's massive shame these toilets are gone. California just disrespects the life out of antiques...
California has low water consumption as they don't use the Pacific Ocean as their water supply.
@@CrestwoodRocks I understand that but the fact that such beautiful fixtures are gone is such a tragedy
@@westmichiganvintagetoilets that part is true. We do need stuff that will flush well
Has this been renovated?
What an absolutely stunning restroom!
Ikr! its epic!
