Litex Close Up Ceiling Fan

This is the same fan I had since 2021, but now it's GOLD finish. What happened was the inside of the housing had rust inside, and the dust screen was falling apart. I tried to clean it, and the cleaners I used were eating away the original antique brass. I was sad since this is one of my favorite huggers in my collection. I just like these vintage huggers especially if they have stencil blades. My mom saw how upset I was and suggested finding something that looked like antique brass. This was the closest we could get with the money we had. She even helped me cut out fabric for the dust screen. This fan is beginning to show signs of age, the blades are starting to sound like they are gonna dry and rot. I hope they don't because I really like these blades and it is hard to find stencil sets in five like this, even though I could just use the Ellington Deluxe set, which I already have plans for that fan in the future. The glass on the armed light kit came from my 1981 Zephyr because the set I used originally broke. The blue floral globe is still in good shape though. The bulbs used are four colored CFLs and in the single fitter, there is a Great Value (TCP) filament LED black light (essentially that filtered glass and a 5000k LED filament). The red, the green, and the blue are rated 13 Watt, the yellow is rated 14 watt, and the black light bulb is 7 watt. The fan has the tall 172 millimeter stamped steel spinner motor inside. The fan is still very strong on medium and high, but again the age is starting to hit it. This fan will be 38 years old in November. Age or no age, I love this fan and I will do whatever it takes to keep this fan in good enough shape, even if it needs new blades. The stencil design on the blades of that fan are the more ornate stencil instead of the standard Casablanca stencil which is on most fans

@@koopakingdomfansandgaming6725 My church has a fan like that except it's a downrod mount , it's a Commander Top Mount , and it has 4 oak blades with ornate stencil.

I don't just have this fan with a set of this stencil, I also have an Ellington Deluxe with stencil blades. Both this and the Ellington Deluxe have 5 blades.

@@koopakingdomfansandgaming6725 There are several ceiling fans that have the ornate style stencil design on the blades. Two examples of that are the Encon Premier Deluxe and the Encon Crusader.
