They've got a nice little stadium over there in Wrexham nick and it's good to see the owners actually deliver what they say i hope they have a good season nice football club with good traditions
How cool is that? A temporary stand gone in. Up so quick. Very impressed with the owned commitment to the club. Thanks for getting to best footage Nick. Top Man
I've been waiting for this video, Nick, so I could get a proper look at it from above, as I can't really see much of it when I'm just walking past...cheers for taking an interest.
Great video. Something you may not know, behind you near the end of the video, the green metal railing fence between the road and the railway station, is basically the route of Wat's Dyke, the disputed boundary between Wales and Pre-England back in ~800AD. Some parts of it can be distinguished by a trained eye. Maybe you could fly along Crispin Lane and see if its visible to us plebs. Also there is a small pond just the other side of the railway that is supposedly Ye Olde Ducking Pond for Witch's.
Love how you cover different grounds Nick. Hope it's not a cold as Gillingham.Good luck for the rest of the season Wrexham. Great video. Best wishes Graeme from Portsmouth. Play Up Pompey
The 'temporary' Brian Moore stand was erected in 2003, 20 years ago, not 30. The new American owners have stated they are keen on developing that end so hopefully we'll have a proper new stand soon. (fingers crossed)
@@shoutinghorse It’s not going to happen as there is no need for it outside of the Championship, and that ain’t gonna happen again any time soon. It’s main purpose was to act as a placeholder for planning restrictions. As long as they maintain a sizeable structure there they retain the possibility of building something of similar size. The truth is that the money would better be spent as part of a new 12-15,000 capacity stadium development. It needs to happen soon as there is so little land left now available for development in the Medway Council area south of the Medway. The last feasible site would be at the northern end of the Gillingham link road to the east of the current Beechings Way training ground and north of the railway line. Outside of the Isle of Grain peninsular, there really is nowhere else.
Hello Nick, at Everton in Canada here. I did an interview with you for the Royal blue mersey website. When I was in Liverpool in July, I visited the racecourse and noticed that wall that you mentioned. So it has been there for a while. Love your videos and hopefully we can talk again about the Bramley Moore dock stadium and your experiences visiting it over the three years of construction. I am in Liverpool again for the Derby in March. Perhaps we can get together.
Living in Wrexham there going to have major issues with parking in the next 5 years. Unless we can extend into the surrounding parking properties in Wrexham, won't be an issue at night, retail parks nearby.
I believe they just need to take down the advertising fence along the front, put the advertising on the back of the stand, add a pathway to Crispin Lane and bring in portaloos/catering van and it's done.
mate, great drone work. did you give liam roberts permission to use your stills from the video cos he's made a video using your work i think, looks like it, but could be wrong. keep the drones coming cheers
@@PaddyPower_IRL In fairness, Nick spent the time outside in the elements to get the footage. So if someone just uses stills of his work, i'd be pissed also. GO GET YOUR OWN.
It's a good idea the stand, because it looks like in a few months , there are going to be in league one , and maybe championship before the whole stand is finished.
I was just thinking about this watching the highlights from the Colchester match and saw a brief glimpse of the temporary stand. Excellent work mate, appreciate the update. Nice drone shots. What drone did you use for this?
They could turn all that spare land behind the temporary seating into a coach and car park. The income might be enough to pay off a loan from the owners.
That’s where construction will continue on the new stand and facilities that have been in the works for the past two years. They will build around the temp stand as long as possible, but will ultimately have to go back to no seats there probably around the break in mid 24.
Hi mate I was there today with my drone gutted I missed you lol, can I ask a question tho? I had an issue when I flew over the university car park got a message saying I was in authorisation zone and to exit immediately but the deon was just frozen in the sky, I couldn’t go forward or backwards just up and down, luckily I was over the car park and not a building so could walk under it, I did all the unlock when I got the manually and through DJI fly app, just wondering if I did something wrong as others have flown over that side of the stadium with no issue Sorry for the long comment lol 😂

Thank you so much for taking the time to take footage! Those of us Wrexham fans really appreciate it! ❤
I' m a Wrexham fan from Finland. Awesome job 👌🇫🇮
This is brilliant. Love this whole story. Well done Rob and Ryan. Hopefully the kop will be approved soon and the proper stand can get built.

Thanks for this video, mate.
Really enjoyed it 👍
Looks a damn sight better than b4. Coolio 😂
Brilliant video, and the new owners have been very generous.
Great video Mr D. Nice to see the progress being made on and off the pitch at Wrexham.

Great update, thanks mate. From Australia!
Nice work Mr D, I hope they name it 'The Gene Kelly stand' as the'll be 'Signing in the Rain' 😆
Nice one Mr D. Frack a 🦆 that's gone up flipping quick 👍
was waiting for this mate , nice one , awesome as per
Brilliant video again Nick 👍🏴🏴🏴
Fantastic to see the progress close up. So fantastic for the club to finally have owners that are delivering on their promise. Great vlog 👍🏻👍🏻
From California, thank you for doing this.
Nice one Nick. Great footage. Thanks👍
Thanks for the update, impressive footage
Great video Nick. I would imagine they will put in temporary walkways. What a fantastic Christmas gesture to the fans from the owners too.
Thanks for the update Mr drone 👍
Great vid buddy was waiting for this 👍👍👍
Great stand update. Look forward to further updates, enjoyed. Great drone footage. Wrexham fan here, since 1974.
Fantastic footage mate nice one.
Nice one, fair play 👏👏

Gillingham installed a similar temporary stand behind the Gillingham end goal 30 years ago, and believe it or not, it's still there.

Will a roof be put over the stand
@@alecpendleton2336at Wrexham? No, there's not going to be a roof

This is a sign of a significant delay in the building of the new Kop. What's the updated timeline on that project?
It’s moving quicker then Anfield 😂

Will there be a new videoboard at the temp. Stand? Seems like the pillars behind the main seating area might act as one

the racecourse is a little beauty. proper british style stadium. way better than any new style bowl or single tier nonsense
Any video on Bramley Moore dock?
Ok, so a side question from across the pond - what's the deal with the yellow and pink lights on the field? I'm very confused by that.
i think they make artificial sun light that keep the grass healthy since the daylight is short during the winters
Nick, don't let the fame get to you.😊😊😊👍😂😂😂
What is the ETA on the Kop?
How much plastic can it hold?
