VAN BUILD VLOG: Episode #3

- Taping our layout, choosing materials, behind the scenes of filming viral content and of course lots of planning. This was the last week of "behind the scenes planning" before we really start making physical progress on the van :)
We are playing a little bit of catch up with the vlogs so get ready for a lot of them in the next few days to be published so that we are back in real time with our build!

I have been building boats for decades, maybe that helps: screwing the roof rails to the Van, you need to fill in some (sorry for my bad english) kind of ,caulk where the screws are going through the metal, hope you didn’t forget that, good luck 👍
… and hope you always use stainless steel screws 👍

Are you going to use the same fresh water tank that you used on the Concrete Oasis?
By the way, what tank was that? In your video, you stated 34 gallons
It was 34gal, correct. We have the same size tank this build but it's an over-wheel well type this time!
Videos are getting better. One piece of advice that I know is an adjustment for new vloggers…. Try to glance at your flip screen as little as possible and look directly into the lens when you speak. That way it feels like you’re speaking to us and not someone else in the room.. excited to see what you guys come up with in this build.
Appreciate the tip! We are actually just doing it with the iphone! Maybe soon we will start using a vlogging camera!
In the next one we took a lot more b-roll! Seems to break it up a bit more nicely!
@@nicoleandedden excited to see where this goes. I been watching van live videos and van tours for 6 years.. oasis is truly my favorite build. I’m old school tho.. so I think I need a tv protector on that sliding door when it closes. 😂.

Like your design ideas I'm very disappointed that I did not get to buy the concrete Oasis but I'm going to be building something very similar to that I'm only going to change one thing
