@@elguapo5875 you can't just buy a "telephone cable"...it has to have the correct number of wires inside of it. The Epicenter uses four wires / contact leads. If it's not working I guarantee you bought the cheapest one you saw and it's TWO WIRE. 😂

Hey just so you know for the wire ferrules they are 10gauge or smaller they sell a crimp tool just thought I'd let you know because I saw you didn't crimp any of your smaller gauge wire like the remote wire or the wire on the bass processor end.

So my stock subwoofer blew recently on my truck and I wanted to replace it and upgrade the sub and amp. I did get a new head unit installed. I got the pioneer dmh 2660. I ended up going with the skar vd 8 d2 it's 400 watts rms and 600 peak watts. My boy let me borrow one of his amps the JL audio RD1000/1. I also bought the epicenter micro and 4 Gauge wire. Will this work? I don't know about the amp but I think it might be too powerful isn't it? I was also recommended by skar to wire the sub to 1 ohm and doing research on the JL amp it doesn't support 1 ohm only 2ohm's. I just started learning about subs, amps, ohms, watts, bass restorations, etc lol I feel like I've learned so much about it in the last 2 weeks but I want to make sure I'm doing it right and I won't blow my sub or my boys expensive amp lol thanks!
I have some 12’s kicker and some pioneer 10’s for my silverado which ones would u recommend for the epicenter? Its through a 1000watts amp is it gonna be bass-ey asf??
I had pioneers a while back in another vehicle and really didn’t like bass quality but I’ve always liked kicker they have a good punch to them also good on low notes. I’d run the kickers bro! 🤟🏼
Just be careful with fuses if its too small it will blow and if its to big it will never blow and melt the wire make sure how much power the cable can handle and use the correct fuse for the wire (:
Hey man I got everything hookup but I can’t seem to know why my amp and epicenter don’t turn off when my car turns off. I also have a power switch installed in the front dash to be able to turn off and on the amp but for some reason doesn’t turn it off. Also notice that the epicenter and amp only turn on when I have the remote in and also touching the positive if I only have it In the remote control nothing turns on.. think you could help me out ?
In this case you still need the knob remote from the amp to the dash of the car or just the knob from the epicenter? Basically can you control the amp bass from the epicenter or do I need to set the 2 knob amp and epicenter?
Amp will need it’s own knob for volume for bass output, the epicenter knob is for adding extra bass. So in this case run 2 knobs one from the amp and other from epicenter. Amp knob being the main volume source. 👍🏼 hope this helps bro.

I hope you ain’t got the wide and the sweep turnt open 🤦♂️for Banda you should want the wide at 3-6 o clock position and the sweep at 11-12 o clock depending on the tuning of your box and hint hint if you really wanna do something extra mess with the voltage or the chip in the epecenter

Yes you have 2 separate ones. I have the epicenter micro which has a 2 knobs built into it, the outside knob is for overall volume, the inside one is for epicenter effect

The silver sleeves? Those are wire ferrules to slide over wire so it’ll all stay together and prevent wire strands coming out and touching other wires. 😎
I never run crossover or epicenter into amp power will cause noise distortion and make amp pull more power away from the processor. Get a second battery or distribution block to get equal power all around and I make separate ground for every ground

I had mine connected to every amp i own and i never had any problems with them amp number one dd m3a second amp taramps md 8000 third amp taramps bass 8k and now i have the crescendo 5500 and i never had any problem

Better to add a fuse even if it’s not recommended, say processor is defective or goes bad only fuse that will pop is that one or cause from any other damage. I use a 5 amp fuse for something low voltage like that. Hope that helps boss 👍🏼

I’m looking to get the clarion mc360 which is the one they recommended. Not sure if the cross over is sufficient or if I still need the audio control epicenter.
The rca coming out from your converter to the amp will be your main input at the processor then get an extra set of rca for the output at the processor to the amp 👍🏼

you can, im personally running 4 gauge wires for power and ground to supply my amp
but i recommend running 8 gauge or smaller
