a Greek road and trail runner, in both National Champion several times, competing in a 142 km road race , with 2450m of vertical gain, called Dromos Athanaton (Immortals Race).
This race started from the city of Tripoli in Arcadia region, passing through Sparta in Lakonia region, ascending & descending mount Taygetos and finishing at the c;ity of Kalamata in Messinia region.
At runner's common ''language'' this is an Ultra race, meaning that is a race that its distance is a lot beyond the marathon' s one (42,195m).
You can see the struggle through many hours of running, along the Greek countryside, trying to archive the standard of competing to Spartathlon / spartathlongr ,
witch is an iconic race in the ultra world, that also have many symbolisms and bonds with Greek history...
This appears to be a lonely journey, but there were much appreciated people for him, by his side.
His fiance Sofia, his mentor and coach Nikos with his daughter Maria and Dimitri's close fiend Giorgos.
