Thanks Emily. I've never dared to charge either person card with a specific identity! For me, the Man or Woman card seems to always get drawn at a position which reveals itself as a particular person in my life! But from your video I can now see that with a multiple male & female deck, it makes a lot of sense to assign my querant to a particular m or f card (depending on who they identify with.) Blessings from the Heart.
Yes, sometime I "charge" a card for the querant if the question warrants. Depending on the situation & my intuition, I view the man and woman cards as yang & yin energies respectively. Everything depends on the context. For example if the question is about health and the man followed by the tree comes up, I may interpret this as "being more assertive about health issues," assertiveness being a yang (male) energy. That same card with the woman could be assume a more passive role. Angain, all depends on the context and question. Just another thought on these two cards. Namaste.
Ahhhh you mention non-binary people cards, thank you! As a non-binary person in a same sex relationship, I so appreciate the more modern decks that realize not all people are cishet lol.
If I charged the Snake as rival or complications and it lands before the woman (me), how am I suppose to see my role? Lol For example, I did a monthly GT spread to survey work, romance and health. In the top row I'm at the end of 5 cards: Letter, Mountain, Sun, Snake and Woman. Am I creating my own problems? Is the only rival I have in my head? Or am I complicating my own ambitions? I charged the Man and Rider as a returning love interest or renewed interest and he's underneath me. I understand we're not in contact but I'm not sure how the Snake then fits into the picture while weighing down on the Key. Thx for the videos, I'm taking notes and hopefully I'll get there.
Hi J S, thank you for your comment. The Snake is not a card. I typically like to charge; I like to use an additional person card if the deck comes with that. The reason being that once you charge a card the card loses its original meaning and takes on the charged meaning you gave it. I like to have the Snake freed up to show up where it needs to. Since you charged the Snake as your rival, then the two of you together means you are very linked presently. I wouldn't interpret it as 'problems' in this case because you charged the card. I hope this helps for future tableaus! Happy Lenormand Adventures :-)

Thank you for your comment! It is so great to hear you have a relationship with your cards so you know what the man/woman card means when it pops up
