I feel your pain & frustration! Honestly, I think you did great for the first try. From my understanding, you should reassure like you did, re-stabilize the cat & try again. Also, position cat on its side, pull leg straight to get the skin taught & shave inner thighs. I’m watching videos to help me see how to hold & position the cat with my left hand & shave with my right. They say to use your body to position the cat & hold the tail outta the way. Much easier said than done! I have done one cat & have one more to shave. You did great! Just keep trying! 🐾

I bathed Ali more recently & it went pretty smoothly (she was even relaxed in the sink which NEVER happens!) & I managed to groom her a bit afterward. Finally, an honest video. She actually was very well behaved from what I saw. I have to trim my boy, and Im more afraid of him squirting me. Yes, squirting buttjuice is a thing in some cats. I never knew, until it happened to me 🤮. Live and learn. Thanks for keeping it real!
It said completely discharge the battery before the FIRST charging. How could you discharge a battery BEFORE it has been charged for the first time?! A lot of the wording was awkward. Got a good laugh out of it anyway. I was just trying to stall because I was afraid my cat was going to kill me! Survived the experience anyway! Cheers!
@@gizmospazz Yeah no there was no charge whatsoever! I was mad because I finally psyched myself up to shave the cat & then I went to start the thing & NADA. Realized I had to charge it first & it would take several hours so I had to wait til the next day to do the trim/video. The instructions made no sense to me! & it doesn't even show you when the thing is charged or not. Yeah. It's not the greatest. It did work though. Somewhat. Wasn't a very pleasant experience! My cat was not amused. :)

Maybe because she was used to it or she realizes I'm trying to help her. & maybe I was a bit less nervous since it wasn't my first time & I wasn't on camera. Take care. Thanks for watching.

Completely discharge the battery before charging means use the clippers until they've completely died before recharging.

Products are usually shipped with some amount of charge. If it was DOA though, then I understand the confusion.
