Another great classic, it was my first time completing the game. Loved the attention to detail, great voice acting, the story and the graphic novel type cutscenes just as I did with Max Payne 2. Max Payne 3 lacked some story elements and the atmosphere of the first two, but made it up with the shooting mechanics, ragdoll physics and level design. If Max Payne 4 comes out hopefully the story and the atmosphere have more depth again with a good variety of locations like MP3 did, then it could be a near perfect game. I tried to record this a year ago, but it was too buggy. Now the gameplay was ok, but the cutscene audio was a mess, so I nicked many of the cutscenes from NRMgamingHD's all cutscenes video, credit to him. It took me some time to get a hang of the shooting mechanics, playing it like Max Payne 3 didn't work out at first :). Playing on DoA difficulty is also the only time I can recall playing a game where it takes the npcs less bullets to kill you than it takes you killing them, it was a challenge. Now waiting for Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
I've got so much nostalgia for this game. Watching someone as skilled as you tear up the highest difficulty level like this was very entertaining to see. Honestly, you turned Max Payne into a combination of Robocop and Neo, your skills are next level! Thanks for the great upload, already added your Max Payne 2 playthrough to the watch list 👍
Ah, finally a version where the screen isn't stretched! Thank you! Also, can you put this video (and other longplays) in their own playlist, even if it's just 1 vid? Easier to find that way.
I just watched this full...All went like something that's really happening!! Idk why but couldn't relate anything more than Max himself...I just 1 and Only 1 request to the rockstar games...If they ever release Max Payne 4....I want it to start from the same scene of comming back home looking for michelle...I will miss him :'(
Gognitti is a pussy. But i feel like he's an innocent kid in the second game and looks younger but idk also the second game made me hate Vlad so much i can't believe it the russian ended up being the bad guy.
second playthrough (1st was on console when it 1st came out) now on pc and got all the way through to chapter 3, part 7, on entering the offices and I notice I' have no weapons other than the starter 2, the lead pipe and beretta with 25 ammo - after 20 attempts i finally killed the 1st 3 guards with around 5 bullets left or whatever and thinking, i know the top level end boss is tough but i dont recall this start bit being so damn hard.... yep it bugged out - so that was fun :) - lost momentum to care to finish it now, likely the most recent save will be the car park or somewhere :D
@@pukyy No problem. Also i wish you could zoom in or out just like GTA but these first 2 Max Payne games was developed by Remedy Entertainment and that Max Payne face was Remedy's Sam Lake.

A true Masterpiece. McCaffrey's voice is just awesome as well. Gonna enjoy this one a lot. Thx for that :)
I completely agree. Thanks for watching! :)
@@ThirstyHyena Yeah. Still got a lot lot to watch but I'm really gonna enjoy it :)
Imagine your last words being "What the...."
Part 2 prologue is honestly one of the best sequencs there has ever been in a game

Thanks for watching! I have done that, check on my channel. However I divided it into two playlists. One for GTA, one for other sandbox games.
@@ThirstyHyena Ah, I see it. Thanks!
The original Max Payne is my Die Hard video game equivalent of a hard-boiled, kick-ass Christmas Classic! "Merry Christmas you filthy Animals!"
1:18:11 in the storyboard/cutscene he was holding an Uzi, but in the gameplay he was holding a double-barrel shotgun...?
3:33:33
you are a genius
2:15:01 max kills max from part 2 prologue
The direction was better than most of AAA games nowadays
a game so legendary that they had to make a movie of it.

Extreme Masturbating
The voice acting in this game was way ahead of its time, a shame it was created in the early 200s rather than now
I love this game ☺.. But miss this game 😔. I think this game was 15 years ahead of its time this is my 4th time watching first comment
Best Video Game Ever

Another classic which is dying to be remastered
Both MP1 and 2 are getting remakes from Remedy and Rockstar. This truly is the best time to be a Max Payne fan.
@@NateGreyX Good news✊👍

Compared to most max payne videos on youtube, yours graphics look better, why? Also better sound quality
I bought the CD From China And The Quality and Sounds was good so don't buy it from Steam or shop shop or something
have you played above 60fps, cuz the game has some little problems on your walkthrough
Armed and extremely dangerous.
One day they will build this game in the first person, in the history of 1. With two options of difficulty: Difficult and nightmare.
Cool vid
3:33:33 was it intentional :D
Yeah, I see the opportunity to round it off to such a time and cut it off a bit earlier or later than I would've or do some small edit.
Looks like you have the PC version.
3 33 33 ☺
1:30:55 lol happened to me too
