The video includes photographs of the construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway, completed in 1885 to link eastern and western Canada according to confederation agreements between the feds and provinces...
One of the few who have all three things going for him, great songwriter, guitarist and vocalist.

Not many people realize that at 3:40, THAT is the ONLY thing that halts a runaway train.
There are several covers of this song on UA-cam. Most are a very good attempt, but don't quite reach the quality and execution of the original. It's a testament to the mad skills of Cockburn. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a video of him playing this song anywhere. It would be amazing to watch his hands work the resonator guitar.
