The Best Buy employee was correct! The sounds on that mic were incredibly crisp! Loved it. The tascam is really good for intense deep ear cleaning/scratching videos because it sounds like you’re inside my brain lol

The scratching sound on the Elagato mic is just chef’s kiss. I usually don’t enjoy scratching on mic triggers but this one was magic
Same. Sometimes mic scratching is too abrasive and harsh. If it’s slow and light I don’t mind.
Personally, although the new microphones are crisp and clear, I prefer the Blue yeti. It has multiple covers to choose from that provide a variety of tingles and from the aspects you tested these mics on, nothing failed with the Yeti. It also has that og touch to the mic so I feel nostalgic when you use it...a win for me :)

The tascam is definitely my favorite for sure, I love the mic scratching and tapping sounds, plus the mouth sounds always come out so tingly :)
The Tascam mic gave me my first ever tingles!! I’m shoook. I’ve been listening to ASMR for over a year now and never got tingles but loved it because it relaxed me. That mic tapping and scratching on the tascam was unreal 😍

alexandria’s triggers are literally the definition of perfection and brain melting because i literally get tingles and it’s soo relaxing her amsr channel like her nail tapping, mouth sounds and personal attention ones are my favourite. i literally only listen to her as she’s my favourite asmrist and can only please my little brain. well done alexandria for having another pleased subscriber. 😌💕
I always come back to this video for the tascam scratching. I tried to look for some other tascam scratching videos from other ASMRtists but nothing is like yours. It’s the best and I would love a longer version 😭

This just shows that every mic is different, and the mic you choose affects quality. I personally think each mic was good for a different trigger, so the tingles kept coming 😃
My opinion on each mic 🎤 ⚠️ Long comment ⚠️
Mic scratching w/ tapping 💅🎤 :
1. Tascam Dr05x : My personal favourite. It was very tingly and I love how sensitive it was. I also liked how it was like light but hard sound. It's hard to explain but... yeah. LOVED IT 😍
2. Blue yeti X : I love how scratching was tingly and it was rlly good.
3. Fifine k658 : There wasn't a variety of sounds to make but they were very tingly. I love the tapping on it. So good 👍🏼
4. Elgato Waves:3 : It was like a holo and flat sound type of scratching and It actually doesn't sound that bad! Didn't get tingles from it though but it was satisfying to hear.
5. OG Blue Yeti: I had no tingles , the sounds were a bit flat but I still love it.
Mouths sounds 👄
1. Tascam Dr05x : LOVEEE IT. Since it was sensitive, I got a lot more tingles then the other mics and it was clear and the bubbly crunch sound was there ☺
2. Og Blue Yeti: I loved it! It was almost just like the Tascam Dr05x mic but a tinsy bit less sensitive. And what I mean by tinsy is 4% less sensitive.
3. Fifine K658: I loveeee it. It was a very pleasant .
4. Elgato Wave:3 : It was a lot more sensitive than the Blue Yeti X and I found that a bit more tingly
5. Blue Yeti X: I loved it but it was sort of flat and had like... less bubbly crunch sound. Overall I still like it.
Mic plucking and scratching. With fluffy cover:
1. Tascam Dr05x: again. It's sensitive and tingly. This one you can rlly hear the plucking sounds sooooo clear. ❤
2. Fifine k658 : for me it wasn't quiet. And the plucking is so pleasant. So much tingles coming from it.
3. Og Blue Yeti: it's just like Fifine k658. There's like a 8% difference.
4. Blue yeti: the plucking was just excellent 🔥
5. Elgato wave:3 : It was a bit flat but still loved it.
Applying Lip gloss 💄
1. Og Blue Yeti: it's almost like Tascam Dr05x mic but this gave me more tingles.
2. Tascam Dr05x : Y'all would probably already know what I'm going say about this.
It's sensitive and I can hear the triggers so clearly.
3. I like how this got a bit more sensitive on this one. Love it.
4. Blue Yeti X: I love it. I'm starting to run out of what to say bc of how good this mic is .
(All of them are good 🔥 )
5. Elgato Wave:3 : It was quite flat for me but I still love it 😀
Hair play and hair brushing:
1. Tascam Dr05x: This one just hit me soooooo good 😳
2. Og Blue Yeti: 6% difference from the Tascam Dr05x. Just prefer the Tascam better.
3. Fifine k658 : I was able to hear more of the hair scratching than the Blue Yeti. I loved it
4. Elgato Wave:3 : It's was honestly just nice overall.
5. Blue Yeti: Just loved it. It was a bit quiet on the hair scratching for me.

The first mic sounds GREAT for mic scratching but picks up too many mouth sounds, the second mic was good for mouth sounds because they weren't too intense but they weren't to dull ig, the third mic was really good, great sound quality just ig from what you said it cuts off, the fourth mic is great just very sensitive, and the fith mic is always greattttt duhhhh and is very good for mic scratching and wisperinggg♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️hope this helps. Love you girllll

The yeti mics are top tier for sure! But each mic have their own trigger sounds that sound the best for example, the tascam mic the mouth sounds are very crisp & as for the other mics besides the yetis are not as crisp and clear but overall they still get the job done at a bare minimum but keep using your yeti’s & tascam mics those are doing justice for all triggers 🙏🏼😊❤️

The Tascam does it for me. The sounds from that particular mic are my jam. All mics produce great sounds, just my personal preference is the Tascam. And as always, you look amazing.
I love mic comparisons! From best to worst for me: tascam (always amazing!), best buy employee choice, OG yeti, fifine (not bad, just forgettable), and blue yeti x (hated it haha). Very interesting to hear how different the yeti x was to the OG

I loved all mics except the 3rd one. The new elgato mic was amazing and soooo crisp! Yeti’s mics are always so good as well, especially the mic scratching with the fluffy cover. Last but not least, tascam mic is extra good on mouth sounds 🫶🏻 overall your asmr is always great, no matter which mic you’re using😍
I personaly got a lot of tingles from the 3rd one so i guess that every body feels it diffrent. But i agree on what u said about other mics. (That Is not a hate comment just an opinion so dont get me wrong)

I’ve watched this video for two nights before I sleep to help me decide which mic truly is the best. The OG Blue Yeti came out number one( mainly because it’s so nostalgic and it registers as a safe space in my brain quicker than the rest). The Best Buy mic recommended by the employee followed the OG mic. Loved those the most. The tascam wins for mouth sounds, you’ve used it multiple times in several videos and it’s super relaxing ( especially when you applied makeup on us in that video that Lullaby Leah and Eevie ASMR challenged you to). I’m still conflicted about the K mic. Nonetheless, you kill it always.
