So just as a reminder: golem raids are a thing and a pretty strong one at that. So pilar bases and land bases can be easily wiped if no teks (even with teks 5h raid and your base is gone) and land bases are simply OUT the window. Because for now there's only the titanosaurus (wich can and will wipe 95% of land bases) but when the extinction titans are added it's rip land bases no matter how big they're. so the best option is caves and ratholes. And for these the best map is abberation. The island caves are all strong and hard to raid but can get fobbed pretty badly and hard to claim since its a free map. But for a starter base. Even knowing about golem soaking pillar bases on scorched is the best until you get enough to claim a strong abberation roof or cave. (Avoid the island cus it's a free map and so cheaters can and will attack it more while also having more overall peoples attacking you)
