Wunderbar! I first heard it in about 1976 through a valve tuner and home-made amplifier (from a radiogram). No internet then, but I committed the words 'Neu' and ''music' to memory. Fifty years on and I've found it, just as I remembered.
I am 65 years old, a German national from Heidelberg. In 1972 I got introduced to NEU "Hallo gallo" and I couldn't get away from it because it blew my head off. I have listened to this and again my head got blown off. Shame I waited this long
Great stuff. I am in my 70's and still remember when I bought the album Hallogallo . Lived in Germany at the time this group started. They were definitely ahead of their time.
It's also partially that the structure of the riffs was and still is non-conventional while still following some traditional standards for music presentation.
Lol a couple months ago I came up with this drum beat and thought it was absolutely amazing, I wanted to make 10 minute songs with beats like this, then I discovered NEU! '75 and not only did they use the drum beat I thought of, it was almost 50 years ago and it became their main thing Motorik lol. I got the idea for it through listening to Zappa and The Soft Machine so maybe that's where motorik came about.
A really quite stunning sonic adventure, and fitting textbook for electronic music with percussion and guitar. Kraftwerk would have done a piece like this much differently. It’s a great song for a blindfold test.
Das war NEU,als ich ein kleines Arschloch war...before Punk& Metal...jetzt bin ich ein großes....Arschlochmetalhead....but i like it.....NEU/la Düsseldorf/Dinger/Rother ,Blue....waren immer dabei
Faust,Amon Düül ii,Sand,DOM,Hölderlin,Mythos, and Wallenstien are also worth taking an interest in. Message I also used to like quite a bit although haven't really stewed to in a good while. Tons of great bands in this genre so really hard for me to ever choose just one.
They were from Kraftwerk till 1971, they split that year from Kraftwerk,...Kraftwerk found the so called "Düsseldorf sound" together with the later NEU! menbers,... and also noticed the use of flanger Fx (Drums)on this song, very much like Kraftwerk's Trans europe express 2 years after E- Musik

This is what Lo-Fi will sound like 40 Years from now.
Discovered this when it came out. My music esthetic immediately changed.
Brilliant
It's hypnotic and has not lost any. In '75 we sat there in front of our primitive stereos and woooow, aaaah, sounds so good ... and it still does.
I was fiftheen when I hearded for the first time and it blew me away , now Iam sixty and it still does!
same here!
Here here
@@franckyvuylsteke8117 OH yeah ME TOO I wish a time mashineback to 1975

...immer wieder gerne....und immer noch großartig...
I purchased this album 45 years ago, sounds as good today as it did in ‘75.
You'll hear their influence on Stereolab, the early stuff like Switched On, Peng!, And especially Jenny Ondioline on Tan Transient Noise Bursts...
love this song, so euphoric.
Man I could listen to this on repeat all day. Really digging up this old skool Kraut stuff. No bullshit gangsta vocals just musical bliss.
The whole idea of playing the whole mix like an instrument was miles ahead of its time. This is sublime.
It's also partially that the structure of the riffs was and still is non-conventional while still following some traditional standards for music presentation.
love the locomotive beat
Die zeit als kraftwerk und co.enstand . Großartig
Beste Musik für die Fahrt in den Urlaub
This track blew my mind when I first discovered Neu around 30 years ago.
Those drums are the greatest thing ever
1975 comes marching back through the window, pure magic.

Dann x wieder NEU
Geniale Sache
now i hear what the post punkers listened to
What Post-Punk wanted to be but nobody has ever been quite cool enough to replicate.
this is epic driving music...
t amo neu!
I love how right after the 8 minute mark it always sounded like a giant troll waking up. Fantastic track!
Surprisingly modern! I didn't know Kraut was so popular in Germany in the mid-70s. (To my defence: I was in India then.)
Muy bueno
On the bahn just driving.
I think you mean, "bahn". Lol.
Stark.

Always NEU
Wire must've had the beginning of this song in mind when they wrote "I Am The Fly"
Nobody cares,cringe,and also go away.
@@WocklessGamingforAnimeMoms You cared enough to bring me back to comment I made a year ago but okay I'm going away now goodbye
That's Random transient noise bursts, damn keypad!

E-Musik is a kind of big brother of Trans-Europe Express.
Gab es noch Musik nach NEU!?
Sounding like a different sort of Kraftwerk.

Good mention, friend. Love that Dusseldorf sound.
Autobahn to me !
He Kirschman, some of them are Kraftwerk... Have a nice Time and greetings from Hamburg...
aus welchen jahr ist es

1975
relax now
This is a mesmerizing song to get high
Obvious intended purpose to most of this stuff, not that that is a bad ring by any means.
Sounds like Autobahn !
Nah I think it is a little different sound

sounds like "ruckzuck" by kraftwerk
Yeah it sort of does lol klaus dinger was in kraftwerk until 1971.
There is a live version of Ruckzuck available on youtube that is Schneider/Rother/Dinger. It's from a time when Ralf Hutter had briefly left the band.
