Allison isn't just a good dancer she's a GREAT dancer and choreographer, and one of the most talented people to ever come through the So You Think You can Dance group. The version she did with Twitch isn't half of her capabilities. I like Derek a lot, but Allison is Phenomenal.

Please do not just slow down the action of the video , because the beat with the same action will not change , but is also very respected dancer and choreographer .
they didn't slow down the video - that slow motion you see was recorded live with the performance as a 'special effect'. What you see in the video is exactly how it aired on TV because the slo mo was in the camera

Can Derek do real technical contemporary?
In all his contemporary routines he mainly just carries the girl or do fluid movements associated with the genre. However, I have yet to see him do a jete, tilt, penche, or any type of leg extensions/acrobats.
Love that routine !! It's awesome and the music match perfectly with the choregraphy. Good Job to Derek and his dancers! :)
