This doing it right away thing was major for me. I kept saving words and articles and resources to look at later and 90% I never looked at again. Now when I encounter a new word I don't look it up just to save it for later, that hearing and looking up right there is the rep, and if it's important I'll hear it again later. Yes I take my phone out to check pleco like 50 times a day, but I almost never feel like I'm forcing myself to study and I'm still learning plenty!
