Love the song.... But don't go Associating with Black Lives Matter to much, specially after those riots, people have died and lives have been ruined, David Dorn died while protecting a friends store, Got shot by a Rioter over a TV.

only that they're more metal than anything else :/ but i do agree they're phenomenal, and definitely deserve more recognition
ShadowStrike I disagree, while Solence’s music is a mix of electronic/hard rock and metal, the lyrics and tempo in a *majority* of their songs still lean more towards the rock genre. Metal is fast-paced, much darker and has a more aggressive vibe with harsher vocals to go along with it. Rock still has very pop-oriented soundscapes and usually lacks technical or weird instrumentation. Rock also has your classic singing vocals for the most part.
Take Linkin Park for example: their use of heavily-distorted guitars, screamed vocals, and dark, moody lyrics aligned them comfortably with the hallmarks of the heavy metal genre. While they had a few songs that were metal-sounding, in general, they were _NOT_ a metal band.
Solence is probably the only band that surprise me with EVERY single.

I keep coming back to this song because it gives me such a motivating feeling to not give in to the bullcrap of life and to basically *Rise Up* against it and strive. Solence does an amazing job aligning their meanings through each song and I'm so for it
