Hi, is it possible to make this showfile in advance not knowing which lamps there will be in the venue ? And then patch the lamps on arriving ?Thanks for replying ,
Hello! Yes it is. Make a basic festival rig patch with spots, beams, washes etc. Then in the patch when you get to the venue merch the patched head to a different model if needed. Or clone if you need more of a fixture. Hope you understand this. If you dont just tell me!
@@detttrestinger8214 , thanks for the answer. What are the steps to follow then ? Go to the patch first, and remove my spots and what then ? Also change the execute page etc...
In the patch window press the "CHOOSE HEAD" button. Select the fixture you are using. Then mark the fixtures you wanna change to that fixture. Then press "MORPH HEAD". This button will change all your fixture types of the ones you selected. But will automatically make it so most of the programming you've done before works on the new fixture type. If you need more of a fixture that you already have patched. Use the "CLONE HEAD" button to get more fixtures with programming made. Hope this is understandable. If not I think ChamSys got a MORPH / CLONE heads tutorial on their UA-cam.
