I've not taken the IELTS test, but from the instructions and the nature of the test, I think it's a FAKE test because it puts you in challenging and a stressful status, unlike the normal status of practicing the English language, you pay money and you are limited to a tight period of time. The listening test for example is fake because, unlike most real situations, you have to listen, read and write at the same time. Also, mostly in live situations, you communicate with people face-to-face and you can predict some words from their gestures and body language. In addition, many times you lose focus for a moment and ask to repeat what has been already said. Sorry, but I think the main aim of this test is to collect money.

U are 1,000,000% correct. It's just a means of extorting from less developed countries. The most annoying part of it is that it expires after 2 years, that means, your brain automatically unlearn the language u speak. everyday. I wish there could be bodies to look into this nonsense.

I have practiced both strategies that you have mentioned and I do best when I read the questions first. I would advise you try them both and do which one suits you on your exam day.
I got 9 out of 14 correct and most of my failures came from the multiple-choice section. I will have to work on the multiple-choice, cause there are too many distractors
@@sarahsaifi8477 No it is not. The normal IELTS and UKVI only have administrative difference. E.g. The UKVI tests have limited candidates giving exam in a room (30-40) and all tests are recorded. As far as the tests and questions are concerned, there is no difference in that
@@sarahsaifi8477 No problem. Since the test has to be recorded, 99% of times it is on a video call, with an Indian on the other side. My examiner was a lady from Hyderabad.
Hey, In the Australian Desert Geckos passage, for the q 1, why can't the answer be D as it's mentioned in the 2nd para that higher Temperature has negative effects on Geckos. Why would be the answer C correct? Can you please help me with this.

@@meenorpio great result ,how you have acheived 8.5 in reading any tips if you can suggest. I have my exam scheduled on march 31. only 17 days left and I am not a native speaker.
@@varunVk04First of all don't worry, you can easily achieve overall above 7 in 17 days. My first tip is to stop doing practice tests to improve your score, I did this mistake of just doing mock tests but my score wasn't improving so I started seeing videos about it, and then I learnt i need to change my technique for solving questions, there are plenty of videos that teach you how to solve a particular type of question. Try to practice technique and if you are not getting good score in a particular section, try doing it in parts, for example do all the 3 passage of reading separately without time limit, just focusing on the method and getting the right answer, once you master the methods you will be able to achieve overall score.

I have got 11 out of 14 (one mistake in each section). My very first attempt in reading test since high school (I'm 43 :). )
I got 12 correct out of 14😅 the multiple choice is quite tricky but with practise I'll get there..... I'm having my exams on the 16th of December, I'll be back to tell Yall what I will score by the grace of God ♥️

The booklet DOESNT WORK on iPad Pro, it’s not even a pdf, it’s just the 1st page, no paragraph 6. I was able to download it only on my iPhone.
