Katatonia, In Mourning Draconian and Swallow the Sun are the four best bands I've heard in a long time. Good to see one of them getting some well deserved recognition.🎸🎵🔥✌

The videos for the singles from their album "Under a Godless Veil (2020)" are directed by Natalia Drepina, she is a photographer, writer, poet and musician. Her work is really beautiful and she managed to create perfect videos to reflect the meaning of the lyrics of this great Draconian album! 🙌🏻 If you enjoy Heike's voice, which is addictive, I know haha You can listen to her other projects: Lor3l3i, Light Field Reverie, Remina and she also participated in ISON's first two ep and first album.
Aye. Love Heike's work in ISON and Light Field Reverie, and Remina. And don't forget Heike's collaboration with South African black metal group Warthane on their Black Divine album from 2011 on the songs "Autumn's Woe," "Betrothed Black Winter's Dawn," and "Ocean's Lustrous Overture." I also stumbled across a couple of others song she did with Fragment Soul called "A Soul Inhabiting Two Bodies" and The Great Sleep's "Wither" from a couple of years ago. Inferium's "Eternal Sin" is another good song with Heike. Currently, in addition to Remina's "STRATA" album, Heike is working with EchO on their upcoming album Witness which is due to release at the end of November. Black Lion Record released a single, "My Covenant," ahead of the release recently.
You will not find a more Meaningfull band with their spoken word, so deep in retrospect, I have heard Swallow the Sun and Katatonia and others, none hold a Candle to Draconian in my eyes!

Theatre of Tragedy, Draconian and Tristania are the Big Three of goth metal!
I mean I'd consider Draconian Doom metal first and foremost. And then gothic doom to be specific.
Oh, ToT though. Velvet Darkness. It's in a league of its own and inspired so many bands.
What makes this song so great is Heike sings most of the song. I can’t get enough of Heike. Her voice is an addictive drug.
