Also their description said that her passive trigger whenever he enemy has a buff and use any skill, we don't need to attack them at all Doesn't this mean Ran kinda hard counter this? Enemy Ran use S2, time to pillage activate (it never said the enemy need to attack either, it's just said use any skill), then Ran S3 dispell the pillage buff I'm just wondering if that what's gonna happen, because their wording for that skill kinda weird
@valky one thing that needs to be talked about is when you use skystones to buy the rewards in the dashpass. You are no longer able to get the rewards from the weekly missions. I think it's a bug that i hope is fixed.

One thing I am not worried about though is even if it can be stripped, the fact that you're using it to steal other buffs means you can buff stack to protect it so only dispel all is a real threat.

They got the pirate changes cancelled for the wrong reason, but its good that they got it cancelled, regardless. You'll never convince me that the pirate changes were good for the game. It wasn't a nerf, but it was still a bad change. Making a unit less of a standard unit to make it stronger with aggro, cleave, and control teams is insane, speed players dont need to have every unit. And nobody was looking forward to breaking her with DDR.
As someone who played her a a bruiser control unit My issues with Navy capitan Flan's changes are a few 1. She relied too much oh a limited artifact for her optimal Gameplay 2. I think her changes involve drafting units that make up for Her bit of tempo lost, It would have been nice if she just procks her passive in her turn before attacking and to avoid it from being too OP give it to one ally instead of all allies I personally though that it is what it is, but she got reverted. I just think her kit still has a hard time when Lia, ML Luna and ML Politis are units in the game, DDR and ML haste looked very good in comparison, I hope they try again though

Call me a Crybaby if you want but Giving away free stuffs has always been the cheapest way for companies to keep players engaged instead of actually solving the core problems, i would have loved to see new floors for abyss and special abyss or a new gamemode for the anniversary rather than a path of missions like "clear 500 hunts" or "awaken 8 heroes to 6*" as a 4 years old player .-. Not to mention that i do really hope they will still release the headhunt because removing it for a random ML 5* it's pure scam especially since the galaxy bm we are given for free are not counted in the standard banner and as such no "pity" after 20 summons. I'm happy about the resources don't get me wrong but losing the chance to choose a ML 5* for a full RNG pull system is a HUGE loss since every year the ML roster becomes bigger and bigger and being able to choose a specific ML for our account can make a difference. i'm not even gonna talk about the "balance patch" because i would only have not family friendly words to spend...of all units they could touch they basically wasted 3 slots for fun and 1 of them for a unit they already buffed twice...
I think that's just a difference in vision between yourself as a player and SG as a business. I can respect it. As I'm doing a fresh play through today to make content for new players onboarding the game, all content that isn't PvP can be considered "beaten" and that just isn't a viable enough business model for a live service game. The most lucrative business model will always be to pit players against each other and the easiest way to do that is help the players skip all the early "clearable" content and have a leveled out power floor for high end PvP which is a much more recursive gameplay loop to get players to get into.
@@Valky i Agree on that i know they have the businessman mentality but that doesn't mean that they can't focus their efforts into giving proper updates other than thinking about new ways to spill money. 3 month for a balance patch and they even removed one of the 2 major buffs/changes making 3 months of wait pointless. This to me it's very poor management and a demonstration that the balance team doesn't know his own game because it took a second for us to recognize how strong the buff on PFlan was and they had to wait for us to realize it after months working on that? Her passive now becomes reactive so if your team moves first, she basically loses 50 eff? plus the passive uptime will not be 100% as well. How is crit resist any better than dmg reduction when majority of early picks are white dmg ignore def burst like bm haste or laia, and there's still a 30% chance to get crit anyway? Even you said she's not in the good spot right now, and this change won't fix any of that.
@@HuyNguyen-mf9fi 1) try paragraph/line breaks. helps writing a lot 2) in any and all winning high rank pflan drafts with the scenario you describe (you going first + have souls), any other opener like nahkwol, lua, spoli, and even ran with a book will get more done more reliably in the exact spot. 3) the winning position pflan gets played at high ranks is usually in p4/5 of low tempo high control matches that you'd often find characters like ER choux nowadays being picked. so the grounds you established about her some how going first is very impractical and isn't rooted in actual experience. 4) let's talk about 50% eff having 100% uptime. that's 50 gearscore. 50% eff x 4 x 0.67 is 237 gear score of value (without counting the buffs you're stealing), which mathematically is a 4.74x mult on value over time which can be counterplayed, further adding to a better design. 5) crit resist is better than dmg transfer because the drafts she will be played in you can count on will always have some semblance of prot/aurius carmin/atywin, which is redundant; hence it's pointless to begin with. Having crit res while doesn't shift the majority of matchups but that part is actually shifted by the fact that now that she and her team can steal bmhaste's 12k barrier & with proper mitigation on a t2 build, she'll never drop to a 19k white dmg ult. vs senya, it's even easier since bomb detonation dmg doesn't trigger DBSenya's back row unit, furhter boosting how much value she has in those matchups. Furthermore, 70% crit res is great as it secures her survival vs 1 very major meta matchup, jenua, where now she can reasonably survive most of his dmg and stun him out of his kit. It also moves the needle quite a bit on characters like abyssal yufine & savior adin which are all common characters that she now punishes with regularity. 6) lastly, yes she's not in a great spot right now with a bit of identity crisis. To the point where some people are even going to suggest that she's some how going first in a match when her best spot has always been a turn 2 sustain cc/dps. Now that she's gotten all this utility + dbreak, it gives her great synergy w/ DDR style drafts and will let her comfortably cement her playstyle as a support for high eff debuff dps teams to be play w/ yufine/landy/ray comps with heavy tank down openers.
