In 1975 I met a man unlike any I had ever known. I had 3 children and one marriage behind me. He was willing to love me and my children and wanted to be a family. In 1979 we married. In 1987 our only child was born. By then we were already growing apart. In 1995, we divorced. In 2004, he passed away from colon cancer. I sit here in 2019 listening to this song and remembering how it used to be. There were good times and bad times. Promises broken, hurtful words spoken, dreams shattered and hearts broken. But what I remember most is the love we once shared and I have peace of mind in knowing that love was real and no matter what came after.. it will always be.
Peace is more important than sex now a days. Being calm and feeling love inside a soul is more precious than heartaches and breaks looking at him flirts and prejudice.

I always wonder , when I listen to this man, "if he had been a walkon on a show like America's Got Talent would he have made it through the first cut?". I honestly don't think he would have, but only because his sound is so unique the judges would not have realized the greatness they were hearing.
