Place IT workshop to envision Phoenix’s 50th Street Light Rail Station

This video, created by Anna Miller, is from the workshop we facilitated with participants for the Ability 360 Center. In 2012 I was invited to help participants improve access to their new Ability Recreation Center by adding a new light rail station to the existing system. Dozens of people participated in the workshop to envision their potential station. The workshop unified the voice of the community and motivated them to lobby for the station. Today there is a new station with a special design aimed to be a model of accessibility for individuals with disabilities.
