Hello Rebecca from Kansas USA 🇺🇸. I’m getting caught up on your WIP and Waffles and you have inspired me to purchase Dynamic Floral painting. I got it off Amazon. It it so pretty and I’m glad I watched you finish it. I love listening to your WIP and Waffles. You only have positive things to say and always have encouraging things to say to your viewers. I’m very curious to know more about you Advent calendar it sounds interesting. Thanks for you Wips and Waffles. Hugs.
Good evening Rebecca! So many things to say today: Thanks for the suggestion of ironing the pillowcases with a scented spray. I remember seeing a linen spray for ironing and shall see if I can find some soon! Differences in words - When I went to Edinburgh one time, I was at the Christmas Market (fabulous!) and wanted to get something to eat. I asked for a hot dog and chips. The man said he didn't have chips. I could see them but he insisted he did not have them. After several minutes of discussion I finally asked about those 'things' in the bags above his head and he said that I wanted 'crisps'. Learned that one very well and will not forget it! At the same market, different night, I wanted some 'chips' with cheese on them. Now here in the US, that cheese would be melted and creamy/dreamy. Imagine my shock when I got shredded cheese which all fell off my chips. That was another valuable lesson. Later that night, I did smell something very good in the air and found chips with curry sauce - yummy! Again in Edinburgh, found the best coffee in the train station Asked for black coffee with room for cream. Barista gave me a very weird look and asked me how I wanted my end-product coffee to look. White please. Then she gave me the proper term as 'white coffee'. While in Edinburgh I finally found use for all the slang I learned on 'Keeping Up with Appearances'. In the train station, I found 'bacon botties', asked for it correctly - woohoo!!! As for my yearly hospital visits, think I'll head over to the UK as I saw in the Barnesley Hospital that they serve buttered toast and coffee in a real mug while you're waiting in A&E. In my local hospital, we don't get anything to drink which means I might just make some toast and coffee before I leave home if I should have to pay them a visit in 2023. As for those dumb hospital gowns, I asked if I could wear my own jammies and wasn't allowed because I have IV's in both arms. Another good reason to NOT get cellulitis this year!. Last but not least, thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. It's very hard for me to ask for help let alone prayers but I feel I have the very best group of friends here and appreciate all of you very much. Another last but not least: HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY REBECCA!!!!!!! I hope this is a year filled with awe and wonder and success but most importantly, peace and love.
Good morning Rebecca, love the canvas. Love your WIP and Chats. Cloudy here in Los Angeles. 20%chance of rain. Lots of rain for Wednesday. Interestingly, here in the States it depends where on what terms you use. Here in Southern California offramps an on ramps are called what I just said. In San Francisco they are called off pads and on pads. In New York and New Jersey if you say pie, they think you are talking about pizza. Here is California it is called going to the beach, on the east it is called going to the shore. We call buns biscuits if they are served with a meal. If not they are called buns. To spell anything I must pronounce the word the you Brits pronounce the word. I do this because spelling is not my thing. Happy Belated birthday. I hope it was a wonderful one. I visited the UK with a friend, and my sister in 1985 for six weeks. Had a great time. Have a wonderful evening.
That turned out beautiful!! ❤ I started having an issue with my thumb last month. Every time I would pick up a diamond pen, or regular pen, I would get a sharp pain shooting up to my elbow. Like an electric shock. I tried many pens, thick ones were worse, and heavy ones were worse. Even the standard tool kit pens with the squishy were bad. I saw another youtuber saying that your wooden pens were her favorite, so I ordered 2 from you. Hallelujah!! No pain with them, and I am back to diamond painting. I thought it was all over for me. Thank you for all you do. Becky from NH
In Wales it was a roll or Cobb was a round loaf, In Lancashire it was Barm cake or Oven Bottom and now in Yorkshire it's roll or flour cake. Differs vastly where you are in the country. Amazon have both permanent and repositional 6mm refills for Xyron sticker maker. The repositional is £13.95
Hey Rebecca! Good news, I am on getting better. I had to go to the doctor and get antibiotics, but I am good to go back to work tomorrow with only minimal symptoms. I feel the April showers. It's been either cloudy or rainy with only hints of sunshine (but Bella lays in front of my window the second it pops out). I like the rain, though. It's comforting. It's only a bit annoying since I got an elderly woman who lives with us into diamond painting and she's pretty much taken over my light pad, haha. I've had to use my LED lights to avoid the dreaded yellow overhead lighting (must be my nuerodivergent showing...). Recently, too, I've become overwhelmed with the amount of WIPs I have in work, so I'm trying to work through more of the 12x16's at work, since I'm a nanny currently and he's 3, so I can afford some diamond painting time. I finished the butterfly and flowers and started one of DAC'S iconic dragon pieces, the Moonlight Bath. Loved the outcome of the piece! I decided I'm doing a piece called "Pride" by Sofia Lazo, by DAC, which was limited edition and no longer available for the June WIP and Waffle. Great for pride month and it's a smaller size. Though I am considering getting the Alzheimers piece, as my father had Alzheimers before he passed.
Hi Rebecca. You forgot the most important term for a bread roll- being in Yorkshire it's called a breadcake as far as I'm concerned that's the correct term !Dynamic floral looks lovely. Can't wait for the mint green tray but suspect it will have to go on hold when I see the new shop items on Saturday's launch video.Have a lovely week. I'm hoping for dry days so as I can paint our new pergola and the decking next bank holiday
🐶 I think you might have missed a J in the top left hand side of your section, second row down. Or maybe it was just the light on the drills playing tricks on me. It's very pretty. Congrats on finishing the painting
My eyesight isn’t the best so I always have two trays on hand, a lighter colour one and a dark grey one. Both from your lovely self! I find the dark grey easier to see the lighter drills x
I hope this one of my comments shows up 😂 I think it is peeps from Birmingham that call a roll a cob 😅 That is a stunning painting but I think that many crystals would drive me mad 😂 I am really looking forward to the launch of the tray storage, I've revamped my area in preparation but is it posible to have the measurements of it just to make sure 😘👍💚
I just don’t know how you finish the paintings so quickly. I’m finishing a few wips then I’m going back to my massive 125x130cms 269 colour Thread-Bare pattern from a picture I uploaded of The Untamed duo Wei Ying and Lan Zhan. I’m desperate to get back to it and the use of their own style ‘pattern keeper’ app.
After a few disappointing Amazon purchases, I won't buy a painting without being able to see the rendering of the artwork. There have been a few DAC that I have loved the original art and was only Meh about the rendering.
Hello. I just found your channel. Great content! Would you please tell me where you purchased those two big white clips that are holding your diamond painting to the easel?
I got them from here: www.diydigitalart.com/products/cross-stitch-embroidery-tool-plastic-fixed-embroidery-clip-16x7-5cm-large-2-pack-788750?variant=8e431255-fa9c-4b1c-9a00-2600bbe83eb5

Absolutely loved your response to why do we need more than one tray or pen…..because they are pretty 😂

Very sparkly. In Kent there call chip roll or bacon roll. Chip or bacon sandwich is a chip or bacon butty. Xx

Hello, you missed a letter J at the top of the canvas. Hugs from Sweden

Was it Wilson's 3D designs? Xxx

I only ever by from DAC now for this reason. Not taking the chance without seeing the final result

You missed a J. Sorry Rebecca😊. Beautiful anyway.
And what about a bread cake? 🤣
Hey Rebecca, you forgot a "J" up 😅.
