Well 2 Weeks ago I went to gamestop and bought Kirby Planet Robobot and I've already gotten to area 3 overload ocean it's a must have in your 3DS collection!
I have been searching for a while for a 3DS copy of DQ8. I'm hesitant to over pay for it because I have already beaten it on PS2. It's more or less just my Dragon Quest collecting obsession... I really need square to get off there ass and localize DQ10 offline. It blows my mind that they just decided to make a mainline DQ game a Japan MMO originally, and then come out with an offline version and make it Japan exclusive still!!!
A Japanese studio based in Japan making their game series exclusive to Japan where its actually popular unlike the west indeed is mind blowing. Despite what you think and tho they're on people's top 10 (funnily enough nobody ever says they actually beat it or played much of it) dragon quest has never been as popular in the west... only until 11 definitive edition did it gain a resurgence but even then sale numbers were still lower than japans...Each and every single game in the franchise was significantly lower in West compared to Japan. A mmo which arguably is the most expensive to upkeep and has the most work needed to localize there was no benefit to localize it if it wouldn't be as popular. Spending to much only to not make up what you lost is not a positive business strategy.
@@byronbarrientos8471 I never expected them to make the MMO localized, but the fact that they made an offline version finally, after the MMO was released on three different generations of Nintendo console (Wii, Wii U, and Switch), I thought there would be a glimmer of hope that we might have a chance to get to play the offline game at least. Yeah Revelations might be, although it let us get right to the point of purchasing it so it might still be available through the physical copy of the game 🤔
@@JRPGLife Still Conquest and Birthright are totally worth it. And if specially if somebody were to find the special edition with the three paths :) By the way, great recommendations. I'll look into Culdcept Revolt and 7th dragon, I haven't heard of them previously.
It's tough to say, honestly. The blasters are very different than the main line games, and the combat can get a bit repetitive. There are different Yo-kais in each version (like 50 unique to each game) otherwise they are identical. Check out some gameplay online before diving in 😀
Yeah unfortunately. You guys have some amazing editions and collection. But great suggestions, although surely some of these games clearly not for everyone.
I thought it was stupid decision then, and it's a stupid decision now: making the complete story of Fates be DLC only is a horrible choice not only monetarily for the consumer, but also in terms of gaming preservation. You are literally forcing people to pirate Revelations to experience it unless they bought the special edition, which sold out immediately when it came out. I was also poor and in college when it released so I couldn't yolo my money away for it.
Kinda. There's some story content in the download bar at Haven. It's not clear if that will disappear when the eShop closes to new purchases. I'm way late in the game and don't have them yet but I'm not worried. I suspect they will still be available. I could no doubt rush things and get them but I've been loving the game and want to take my time to savor things. No doubt the story bits will end up on youtube if I made the wrong decision.
Is Yokai Watch too easy? I can't get into Pokemon as I find it way too easy but if Yokai has demons maybe it's harder?? Anyway, Dan your hair is luxurious, you're the retro white Katt Williams ;)
I've spent some money to get some of the DLC but even more money on physical copies of some games because I'm confident that they will keep their value or go up, even if I don't end up enjoying/finishing them. What I'm not going to do is buy a bunch of games digitally for 20/30/40 bucks each on the off chance that I might come around to play them eventually. Emulation is a thing. And so is modding your 3DS and using one of those Cardridges that have basically every game on it. I'm frustrated that at least in the german (european?) eshop for 3DS and WiiU there are basically no sales going on besides a couple Shantae games and Shovel Knight. Almost everything else is trash-ware that I wouldn't even download if it was free. Serisously Nintendo. You're closing the eshop. You don't get any money from the secondary/used market. Why aren't you or any of the other publishers doing a big sale on your 3DS games? Like games that came out nearly 10 years ago (e.g. Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright) are 45€ on the eshop. It's nearly impossible to get physically (getting close to 200€). Why? You could have just sold it and tons of other great games for like 10 bucks in the last month. Do a final sale, maybe even advertise it. But no, apparently you don't like money and I'm just going to either pirate your games or buy them physically on the secondary market. Either way, no money for you.
Fantastic list! I’m so happy to see 7th Dragon on here! Also, they too have dlc! Ty for telling me about the DQ dlc! Ill have to grind it out this weekend! Love that game as well! 💜🤌🏽

Great game! We didn't mention it in this video because it's not as expensive physically as the others listed 😀
What are you talking about? EVERY UA-cam video about good 3DS games features Radiant Historia
@@doomoftheend all I'm saying is that I haven't seen many videos rank RH as one of the best games on the console, which is where I would put it. I see it get mentioned in passing from time to time, but hardly ever see it in Top 10 best 3DS game lists.
aren't you scared your 3ds cartridge will stop working l saw someone on discord saying 3ds cartridge can stop working over time?
We have heard of a few rare cases, but we're not too worried.
Cute and cozy Moco moco friends😂 I actually enjoy it.
I'd like to remind people that The Alliance Alive and Legend of Legacy exsist on 3DS. Also the Bravely Default and Bravely Second are on this system
Do you guys know what size plastic protector you used for your FE Fates Special Edition? Thanks!
I believe there is a specific one made for it on the Retro Protection website, it's super unique! 😀
Retro Protection has all the special editions sizes for 3DS.

Whooo I’m here! New sub. I like you two and I like rpgs. Cool channel! 😁
Hey thanks so much for watching!
I’ve been collecting the dragon warrior or quest games for a long time.
Good research ! I think I need like 5 more 3ds games and my collection will be complete.
Nice!
Loved the vid and you guys remind me of my hubby and me.
Thanks so much! 😀
Great video guys love this channel!
Thanks so much for saying so! 😀
Ok one question. Do you have everything double? One opened one sealed?
Nope we aren't sealed collectors. We do have some sealed games because that's the version we happened to find, but most will just be opened and played 😀
Play your Wii U and 3ds! Hi all! If you love the Wii U and 3ds please PLAY them daily or at least weekly because your play data is still given to Nintendo. If we all play our systems regularly Nintendo will at least know how much this wonderful community of ours loves the Wii U and 3ds. This is one great thing we can all do easily to support the systems we love! Spread this message to as many people as you can so our big happy Wii U and 3ds family has fun forever! We all were and are a part of something special. Thank you all ^^
Yes!!
@@JRPGLife Eeeeeep! I just posted you two are fast ^^ Thanks and keep up the great work!
Real shame etrian mystery dungeon is unavailable digitally. I remember looking for it on eshop some months and months ago but of course it was gone. I’m sad I only own eo untold 2 and 3 (persona q as well if you count that) physically. your collection is awesome and great videos!
Thanks so much for saying so 😀
I want to get the yokai watch blaster games. Currently sitting on 4 sealed copies of yokai watch 3 🤣🤣🤣😁
Nice 😎
Wait, wasn’t the fire emblem fates games delisted last month? Or maybe it was the dlc only? I remember reading something like that but maybe i am misremembering
Do you think Yo Kai Watch Blasters is worth it for the solo experience alone? Which one would you recommend Cat or Dog? Thanks for the video!
It's tough to say, honestly. The blasters are very different than the main line games, and the combat can get a bit repetitive. There are different Yo-kais in each version (like 50 unique to each game) otherwise they are identical. Check out some gameplay online before diving in 😀
Awesome thanks for the reply! I will definitely do some research.
Liberation Maiden!
I wish I could get money for them but I’m poor as hell and Currently in Mexico with no hopes of getting a gift card.
Yay for Culdcept Revolt!
Soooooooooooo many hours of gameplay haha. Great recommendations!
Thank you sir!
Dragon quest 7 isn't a ps1 port its a full remake with new content
You guys are like the friendly gamer neighbours we all love to see and wave to lol
Haha that's very kind of you! 🙂
RIP wii u and ds eshop
Etrian mystery dungeon is only like 50 though
This video was released long ago 🙂
Wow you have your prices wrong… physical copies of some of this games are way over $100
We were just using Pricecharting.com for reference, but its likely that eBay sold comps vary greatly 😀
Yeah unfortunately. You guys have some amazing editions and collection. But great suggestions, although surely some of these games clearly not for everyone.
The fact that you guys own physical copies of all these games is insane. Trust me, those price values are already outdated, lol.
Oh yeah for sure lol
Not really worried about the games right now but console variants I want/need...they gonna mad spike in the coming months
Totally
Fire emblem revelations has been removed from the eshop already. I think.
It's possible. When we tried to download it there seemed to be availability...
Wait dragon quest 7 have dlc?
Yep!
I've spent $250 so far. 😢 I don't regret it. Stella Glow's developer shut down. So it's probably stuck on 3ds and it's only $20.
Culdcept Revolt think I will get after watching ya and another channel cover thx =)
It's a very unique game! Hope you like it 😀
⛔ guys no need to buy anything
Mod your 3ds and get all games for free ( all 3ds library for free )
Physical forever 😀
Sees thumbnail* well I already own Etrian Mystery Dungeon!
Nice!
Is Yokai Watch too easy? I can't get into Pokemon as I find it way too easy but if Yokai has demons maybe it's harder?? Anyway, Dan your hair is luxurious, you're the retro white Katt Williams ;)
Lolol thanks for saying so 😀
Yo-Kai watch is pretty easy as well, but has more depth than Pokémon imo
@@JRPGLife Ok thanks for the reply, I think I'll give it a go then.
Yokai Watch games are definitely harder than Pokemon games.
Sands of Destruction
Avalon Code
Luminous Arc
Soma Bringer
All JRPGS highly recommend that weren’t mentioned here!
All great games! But all on the original DS, not the 3DS. So thankfully their availability won't change when the 3DS eShop closes 😀
@JRPGLife Oh so the eshop for the original ds will remain open?
@SimplyLeah unfortunately that eshop closed long ago 😞
Either way, no money for you.
physical forever 🤘🏻
You can hack a 3DS now and get the delisted and extremely overpriced games online if you know where look ;)
The fact that there are cartridges I won't bother going in eshop
Dont buy it just hack the 3ds
How about Inazuma Eleven?
I bought all the yo kai games on marketplace for $5 each...
Sold them for their price charting values. Definitely my biggest flip..
Bro piracy will always be a thing, heck I have a JB Wii U 32GB, new 3ds xl, and V1 Switch
Fantastic list! I’m so happy to see 7th Dragon on here! Also, they too have dlc! Ty for telling me about the DQ dlc! Ill have to grind it out this weekend! Love that game as well! 💜🤌🏽
