That Guyana road is really only viable with a 4x4, lorry or fly there, that's tough going on a push bike, guess it more the journey than the destination, there is not much in Lethem, a one horse town with a runway and few shops and businesses, on the other side from Lethem is Brazil that is paved roads and will be more enjoyable with mountain views and savanna. Boa Vista is quite a big town in Brazil and more like a US Midwest town and its a few 100 Km from Lethem, few speak English there, as is the case in most of Brazil. Good luck with the rest of the trip.
Dude!!!! 5'50".....You keep my heart palpitating, watching the long dusty sandy Amazonian "road" you are on !!!!! Are you going to make it before sunset!!! I am watching!!! and can't wait for the next episode! !!!! Picacu 😉
I’m a Guyanese living in New York. I lived on the east bank. As much as I enjoyed your videos, I’m still wondering why on earth you would want to make that journey to the amazon region on a bike? That is dangerous in so many ways!!
Sorry mate, but something is totally not making sense. Why on earth would you even attempt to depend on Google maps in such a desolate region without asking some locals about what the Linden-Lethem has for viable overnight places??? Just a tidbit for you, I know of a few stories why overseas based soldiers (that were part of various joint training exercises), who thought that they could 'conquer' the Guyanese jungle, but some of them left extremely sick and / or injured by wild animals and insects. I heard one story of a US soldier who was pushing his way through the foliage and a large tree thorn ripped his stomach and abdomen open. Either way all the best with your journey, I'll be looking out for your next upload!
that region is part of Guyana for 200 years and a mad man is disputing it because of jeliously, about Guyana progress., and hostile forces took up the argument all left wing forces in latin america who want to stop the progress of Guyana, nothing to do with oil or a former coloniel power : cheating : them. wish you well on your trip.
OMG!!!
I can't believe you did this 💪
So much respect.
I'm now waiting for your next video
Brave soul. Enjoy 👍🏾
