So, as a Cpl Marine Corps instructor for Message Center operations for the first marine division at Camp Pendleton 1960-62 this was by far the most difficult thing to teach younger marines in communication mos. The idea of international date line, Greenwich mean time (Zulu time) and 15 degrees it was the most difficult. No problem understanding teletype machines, radio communication etc. semper fi.
