first things first..check the emergency stop..hehe..especially winches, cranes and hatch covers..ayos ka talaga lecky for still being cool despite the pogis honest mistake!
Lol..this happened on a job I was on...darn emergency stop was behind a door..we looked all over and couldn't find it...then it began to rain, someone closed the door and boom..emergency stop button.
Its already 2v drop at the source, most documentation of 24v electronics says a max of +-10% difference. Especially if you need to toggle solenoids those voltage drops can cause trouble.
Brother thank u soo much for explaining everything so nicely...u are a perfect elec i have ever seen...can u make video on how to read wiring diagram for auto and manual system and for plc too
It seems like having an indecator light for the estop being pushed at another terminal would be a good idea. Give an indecator for hw fault vs estop. Possibly flash all 3 lights or such. Would need to make a new message faceplate and reprogram plc though.
Nice video, thx ! Have a question regarding same type starter windlass mooring winch... How change direction of the motor ? Because when operating on the control column (3pcs) actual directions is wrong
Found another worthy content creator kudos to you sir!!
I guess checking all the emergency stop buttons before calling leckyjake is now at the top of the list.

yung gigisingin ka ng 2 am dahil di daw gumagana ang winch tapos pagdating mo naka emergency stop

I am surprised to see a 2vdc output difference in a 24v system make that much of a difference. Good to know
