My wife and started our Poshmark journey this week. First item we listed was a NWT Eileen Fisher. Definitely used some of your tips in our listings. Thank you.
Love watching you I usually watch you on my drive to work lol or should I say listen to you. Something about how you speak brings me peace when I’m driving and I get to learn about new brands. ❤
So glad that you're posting more videos! I always enjoy seeing what you find and your sweet spirit! I'm just getting into reselling and I've learned a lot by watching your videos. ❤
Thank you for watching! It makes me so happy to hear that you're enjoying the videos. How awesome! I'm excited to hear how your reselling journey goes for you. 🤗❤️
You do such an amazing job thrifting, explaining the brand, key words and how you will price items. I can not tell you how many vintage dresses I have passed up over the past 2 years. But that has changed since I started watching you last month. I used to only wear dresses back in the 80's and 90's and sure wish I had kept more of them. They were in pristine condition, but did keep a few because of the embishments they had and thought about making something out of them. Well I am going to get them listed and let someone else enjoy them just as much as I did!! Again great job!!!!
Thank you! So happy you're enjoying the videos! Oh no! I feel the same way about long denim skirts! I used to wear them all the time and got rid of them all and now they're a really high profit/ desired item! Lucky It sounds like you'll know exactly what to look for since it's a style you've been drawn to in the past. I'm excited to hear how your vintage dresses sell for you! 🤗🥰
You should add video to your listings (maybe you already do this). Like what you are doing here, describing and holding up the item. It is a bit time consuming though. I add video to some listings when I am asking quite a bit of money for something, and it does help sell the item. 😊
This is my first time watching your videos and I probably binge watch a few more. Your videos are great and informative for new resellers, old resellers or a person trying to be Bougee when thrifting😀😀. I learned quite a few new brands. My wardrobe is 100% thrifted except my underwear. I do thrift bras but not panties. That is where I draw the line. 😂. I am 58 and I started thrifting with the grandmother at the age of 5. I also started hand making clothes for myself and my dolls at 9 yrs old. So I have been thrifting for awhile. Love thrifting and when I told my friends I was thrifting all this time they were blown away. They I was rich 😂. Great videos. Peace and Blessings. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🌹🌹🌹
So happy you're enjoying the videos so far!! All my clothes are thrift too, after getting into reselling I can never go back to paying retail prices. Haha. That's so awesome! 😂❤️
I love watching your channel I really enjoy the style of your video and the explanations on why you picked items and the keywords are so helpful. I’m still a beginner and enjoy your videos with my morning coffee
Awesome haul! Really enjoying learning new vintage dress brands and more keywords!I loved “long illusion sleeves” really excellent to know! Thankyou for these videos!
I love your videos! I always learn something new. I'm wondering how you keep up on what is in style right now? Do you have any suggestions for fashion sites, etc., for keeping up on current trends? Thank you so much for sharing :)
Hey! Thank you! So nice to hear that you're enjoying the videos. I just pick up on what's trending style wise through Instagram, what celebrities are wearing and a search a variety of style based UA-cam channels. ❤️
Hello and thank you! I have learned so much about what to look for. I am amazed at your shop! I enjoy watching your videos. Do you ever launder the items you find? Thanks!
Thank you! So glad you're enjoying them. I steam treat all my items to sanitize them and if necessary I will wash them and then air dye, but that is rare.❤️
Can you tell me what an “over 100% sell through rate” means? You often say that and I’d love to understand. How can you sell over 100%? Thanks for your help.
It means that when you search an item, if there are 100 of that item listed but when you check the sold comps and there have been 150 sold, that is over 100% sell through rate because more have sold than are listed and it's sought after. If you search an item and it has 100 listings but 50 sold, that would be a 50% sell through rate, it still sells but would take more time. Hope this helps.
Another great video, bringing me all the happy selling cheer. 💛💛💛 I’ve been on Poshmark a few months now and what I’ve found is no one wants to pay even $40 for what was a $150-200 item. They seem to only sell once I offer a steep discount. But maybe it’s just my items?? Is eBay better in this regard?? Thanks in advance for your input. 🙏🏻
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed the video! I always love when I see your comments!❤️ I have noticed that on Poshmark people do try and get a pretty steep discount on some items. I think it might be because of the shipping cost. If you know you can get more for an item I would just hold out for a buyer who is willing to pay the higher price. As long as you have the storage space to play the long tail game on some items. 🥰❤️
Hey! If you want to send me a few photos of items you're wanting to sell to my email listed in my channel description, I can do a few examples of titles and theme words I would use to help you get started. No payment needed. Happy to help.❤️
Thank you for your videos! Do you pick up any brand that is silk? I’m back after a decade long break from reselling so relearning a lot and have mainly been looking for specific brands but find quite a few silk or linen but isn’t a popular brand and the comps are all over the place. I need to check Poshmark but they don’t show sell through rates.
Hey! Thank you for watching! Exciting to hear that you're getting back into reselling! When I choose items to sell, I consider various factors such as the brand, style, and material. For vintage silk items, I don't rely solely on eBay comps/sell-through as I've noticed they often show comps for less than what I've sold them for before. But if I was just getting back into reselling I would personally stick to checking comps and sell-through on eBay until you're back into the flow of know how items are selling. ❤️
Hey! I list 10 everyday I currently have 2k listings on both eBay and Poshmark and just work towards maintaining that total. Thank you for watching! Glad you're enjoying the videos. ❤️🥰
Hey Marita. What are the dimensions of the boxes and shelving you use? I see the items in the links below but the boxes in the link look smaller than yours. I’m trying to improve my inventory system and yours looks very easy
I have 2 questions. First how do you know immediately when something is vintage? Secondly how do you find the great pictures of models wearing the exact garment? Is it because it is so recent? Oops I have a 3rd , how do you learn so many descriptive words for the styles of clothing and there features?
Hey!😊 To identify vintage items, I use the style and appearance first, then check the labels and material tags. Vintage labels differ from modern ones. Initially, I researched specific decades on eBay to understand vintage labels and tags. This helped me recognize them while shopping. To find models/stock photos of the items, I take a picture and use Google Lens. This usually helps me find stock photos or listings with them in it. Over six years of reselling, I gathered descriptive words by studying listings and how sellers and brands describe specific items. Hope that helps! 🥰❤️
I’m fairly new at this and confused regarding using images with listings on pre-owned clothing. I’ve come across listings that appear to be contain commercial stock images and I was under the impression that EBay prohibited this practice. If this is allowed I would like to incorporate a photo with my listings but don’t want to risk copyright infringement. Can you shed some light on this for me? Thanks-I love your videos! Learning a lot from you.
Hey! So eBay doesn't allow you to use stock photos but many do still and have no issues. There are times that the brand will flag your listing to eBay and then it will immediately be removed from the platform and you will be served with a warning. If this happens multiple times you risk having your account put on suspension for a few days and worst case you might have your account closed. So you technically can use stock photos but there is definitely a risk if you do. Hope that helps! Thank you for watching! ❤️🥰
When they first came out with pay promoted listings on eBay I did promote a few of my listings to see the results. I didn't see much benefit from it so now I don't do paid promotions on either Poshmark or eBay. ❤️
Your descriptive word vocabulary is AMAZING.
Thank you! 🤗🥰

Hey Shannon! Thank you for watching! No, I've just been learning terms throughout my years of reselling. Good idea, thank you. ❤️
Can you do a video on your inventory system. Its what I struggle with I know theres a better way than what I'm doing. Thxs
