Rental boats with spot lock and livescope? Unthinkable in the US, it would be either broken or stolen within a day. 😆 When fishing in my boat I feel pressure from my partners to keep moving. I envy your patient approach, very cool.
Eric, when you come to Japan, enjoy bass fishing on a rental boat equipped with spot locks and live scopes :) Of course, with a partner who doesn't put pressure on you !! ;)
Itsuyuki, I accidentally found your channel and could not be happier to have done so!! I am an avid largemouth bass fisherman in North Carolina and my local lake is also very high pressured. The fishing techniques I see from you are totally different than what anyone else is doing in my area. You are trolling (or moving your boat while line is in water) a lot and that is something bass fisherman here do not do very much. I am so happy to see Japanese fishing techniques and styles as this gives me other ways to think about lure presentation when I am fishing. Please keep your content coming and keep posting I will be anxiously awaiting your next video. Tight lines my friend!!!!
Thank you for your wonderful comments! Many anglers are struggling to adjust to the increasingly tough body of water under high pressure ...! But I also, want to emulate your humble learning attitude. Thank you, far to North Carolina fishing friend "Richie Staggs". "Fishing friend" is called "釣り仲間 (tsuri-nakama)" in Japanese :)
Richie I also live in North Carolina and tight lines to you, I love these videos find them very informational. Not many anglers show the process and niche of how to hook into fish, giving exact directions for the technique is pretty rare.
ad an orthodontic rubber band to the bait and thread the hook through it. thanks for the tips. nice wacky setup. im sure you are using very light line. this technique also works with 6lb test, 3 size hook, and fluke. just let it sink on slack line for a few minutes. patience yes. deadly yes.
Itsuyuki! I cant tell you how I stumbled upon your channel but boy am I hooked already! I have done ALOT of experimenting on my home waters here in Michigan for both smallmouth and largemouth, with some techniques over from your neck of the woods. And boy has it payed off BIG TIME! I can definitely tell a big difference in tournaments with the techniques that I am doing compared to anyone else. Especially this past weekend on St. Clair! If you ever come over here and visit, you are more than welcome to crash at my place, and checkout the amazing smallmouth fisheries we have here! Keep up the awesome content!
Oh! Thank you for the wonderful comments from the devoted angler! One of my dreams is to do bass fishing in America someday! When that time comes, go to Michigan! Lol My fishing is very slow so give it a try at the spots you think it might be!
hello sir are you going to make more content soon ? im sure most of us miss it. your friendly way of being and explaining great techniques is missed ✌️❤️👍😊
awesome video! must be an amazing feeling to catch a fish on a bait you designed or customized! i built or customized the boat i fish from, and every time i land a fish, i have that pure feeling of accomplishment. tight lines! 釣り仲間
Thanks for the great comments and questions! The number of rubbers I am inserting is 4+3, but more would work to get bites. The number of rubbers affects the sink rate, so don't use too many rubbers when fishing deep water.
@@rickbartz9560 Thank you! The product is not currently for sale. The key to this rod is ultra light power, extra fast action and most importantly a solid tip. Try to find a rod with similar properties.
@@FishJapanCulture I currently have 2 solid tip rods, 1 Abu Garcia Fantatista Deez but it is too stiff and the other is a Legit Design a little lighter action but not light enough. Thank you for the information.

You are also doing various trial and error!
Fluke bait seems to work just as well!
The OSP dice got its inspiration from this! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much :)
Love it. Fishing from lake atitlan in Guatemala at the Moment.

Good idea to customize the grubs. I'll have to try that. 👍👍
Thank you for your comment!
yes, this customization is deadly for super tough bass ...!
please you try...!

Hello, best regards and good fishing from Colombia
Wow Pesca Andina, thank you for your comment from Colombia! Thank you!
I would love to help grow it here in The US! A lot of finesse tatics and outside the box thinking is really changing bass fishing. Super unique!!
Thanks! Let's keep pushing the boundaries of bass fishing together through creative tactics and thinking outside the box. Exciting times ahead!
Beautiful catches and very informative video!
thanks very much‼︎
Great video 👍👍

I really enjoy your videos, 🇺🇸🇯🇵!
Thanks very much!!!🇺🇸🇯🇵!
What was the tool you used to install the skirts ?? Love the videos Dylan from Tennessee
Thank you for your great question!
I'm using Hareline Dubbin's THREADER & BODKIN ATTACHED.
Great catches. Im have to try it here in Michigan in the U.S. We have a lot of small mouth Bass here. Hopefully this weekend 🤞. Thank you Itsuyuki.
Oh! Michigan!!
It ’s a sacred place for smallmouth bass...!
Thanks for your comment!
Super smart
Awesome technique. I’m going to try this on a short senko and see how it does. Thank you!
Thank you for your comment!
Choosing SENKO I think you are right!
SENKO is fragile, so it would be wise to reuse it if that happens.
@@FishJapanCulture good point. I may neko rig it with an o-ring. I tend to lose much fewer baits this way.

Nice job!!
I love your videos, keep up the good work. It's great to learn these new techniques.
Thank you Jermm Jermm!
I think such a humble you are great!
We all need to take him fishing in the USA
Thank you for your comment!
My dream is to do bass fishing in America!
It is effective! You inserted 4+4 skirts or 4+3 skirts in the video? thanks

yay a new video haha
Thanks!!
What is the original plastic bait you used? Was it a senko?
Thanks for commenting on my great question.
The plastic bait I used in the video is called "ROCKET BUG" from a Japanese manufacture called TIEMCO.
What rod are you using?
Thank you for your comment! I’m using rod is:
GAMAKATSU LUXXE ATS05 S61UL FINE MASTER SOLID SENSOR
@@FishJapanCulture thank you. I will look for one to buy. I like the action I saw on your video.
