Rental boats with spot lock and livescope? Unthinkable in the US, it would be either broken or stolen within a day. 😆
When fishing in my boat I feel pressure from my partners to keep moving. I envy your patient approach, very cool.

Eric, when you come to Japan, enjoy bass fishing on a rental boat equipped with spot locks and live scopes :)
Of course, with a partner who doesn't put pressure on you !! ;)

Itsuyuki, I accidentally found your channel and could not be happier to have done so!! I am an avid largemouth bass fisherman in North Carolina and my local lake is also very high pressured. The fishing techniques I see from you are totally different than what anyone else is doing in my area. You are trolling (or moving your boat while line is in water) a lot and that is something bass fisherman here do not do very much. I am so happy to see Japanese fishing techniques and styles as this gives me other ways to think about lure presentation when I am fishing. Please keep your content coming and keep posting I will be anxiously awaiting your next video. Tight lines my friend!!!!

Thank you for your wonderful comments!
Many anglers are struggling to adjust to the increasingly tough body of water under high pressure ...!
But I also, want to emulate your humble learning attitude.
Thank you, far to North Carolina fishing friend "Richie Staggs".
"Fishing friend" is called "釣り仲間 (tsuri-nakama)" in Japanese :)

Richie I also live in North Carolina and tight lines to you, I love these videos find them very informational. Not many anglers show the process and niche of how to hook into fish, giving exact directions for the technique is pretty rare.

ad an orthodontic rubber band to the bait and thread the hook through it. thanks for the tips. nice wacky setup. im sure you are using very light line. this technique also works with 6lb test, 3 size hook, and fluke. just let it sink on slack line for a few minutes. patience yes. deadly yes.

Fluke bait seems to work just as well!

Itsuyuki! I cant tell you how I stumbled upon your channel but boy am I hooked already! I have done ALOT of experimenting on my home waters here in Michigan for both smallmouth and largemouth, with some techniques over from your neck of the woods. And boy has it payed off BIG TIME! I can definitely tell a big difference in tournaments with the techniques that I am doing compared to anyone else. Especially this past weekend on St. Clair! If you ever come over here and visit, you are more than welcome to crash at my place, and checkout the amazing smallmouth fisheries we have here! Keep up the awesome content!

When that time comes, go to Michigan! Lol
My fishing is very slow so give it a try at the spots you think it might be!

Choosing SENKO I think you are right!
SENKO is fragile, so it would be wise to reuse it if that happens.

@@FishJapanCulture good point. I may neko rig it with an o-ring. I tend to lose much fewer baits this way.

It is effective! You inserted 4+4 skirts or 4+3 skirts in the video? thanks

    • @FishJapanCulture
      @FishJapanCulture  Рік тому

Thanks for the great comments and questions!
The number of rubbers I am inserting is 4+3, but more would work to get bites.
The number of rubbers affects the sink rate, so don't use too many rubbers when fishing deep water.
