Okay well Mbappe promised he wouldn’t leave on a free transfer so Real Madrid put in a very nice bid for him and PSG rejected it. Now he says he is not renewing with plenty of notice. Pretty sure it’s 100% on PSG they should of taken the offer. You can’t just trap him by refusing to sell him and blaming him.
Ikr. They had the chance to cash out and they didn't. Its their fault. If they took the 200m from madrid in 2021 they could have re built the entire squad in so many ways
Lol right!?!? I was watching this wondering how can the onus be on Mbappe PSG had the chance to sell him and THEY said “NO”. Mbappe doesn’t have to say nothing to no one THEY gave him that contract of 2 years they should’ve made the 3rd year included if you really wanted to sell him.
As a PSG fan (I grew up in St Germain - the 2nd half of the club's name), Mbappé gave his all for the club and wouldn't have stayed as long if he didn't deeply love it. He has every right to want to move on with his career and get the titles he deserves, and sadly enough probably won't ever get if he stays. The issue is with Nasser, who runs the club pretty poorly and lacks any clear vision. Which is why, year after year, there's no real coherency to recruitment, the coach can't really run his team the way he wants to, and some players do pretty much what they feel like. As a whole, the club lacks structure. Romain Molina (who's a great journalist who writes for many newspapers, including the WaPo and NYT) has a couple videos in french on that topic, maybe Adrian could get in touch with him, as he's super informative. All in all this was bound to happen at some point, and it's Nasser's fault for not anticipating it (in fairness he should have sold his to Real in 2022 for the insane sum they were offering), not giving Kylian any reason to stay. As often with that club (and believe me, it pains me to write that)...what a shame.
Well Molina ( whom I think is very well informed on a bunch of subjects ) also said clearly that the root cause of it all lies within Qatar and the way they've structured the club, which is poorly. Which is why the club has been failing consistently on a continental level. Nasser cannot take a major decision without referring directly to the emir : and the emir doesn't wanna sack Nasser because he only trusts Nasser at suh a high position within the club. The club has been mismanaged over the years : guess who put this management in place and who's been refusing to change it for a decade ? Nasser is just a middle man running the circus.
The funny thing is that there aren't that many teams that can legitimitely afford him anyways: Real, PSG, City and Newcastle. Even funnier is the fact that Newcastle seemingly don't even want to make gigantic purchases yet, PSG is the club he wants to leave, City already have Haaland and the relationship between him and Real became sour the last summer. Where can he even go at this point? With the money he earns I think he should form his own team Mbappe FC and both play and coach the team or something at this point.
@@phuripatsrisiriroj9737 But this time, transfer to a Saudi club is not a possibility. If he ever attempts it he'll go from a possible future legend to the biggest joke of the football world.
If United finally get taken over by Sheik Jassim, the Qataris would want to make a statement signing by prizing M’Bapae from PSG. United is the last possible big club he could go to but that all depends on whether we get Qatar or not. Here’s to hoping, lol. 🇶🇦 🙏🏾
oh no did someone reject 200 mill for his player, sign him on wages that dwarf entire clubs and then get mad when the player wants to fulfill his contract ?
@@90minutegoal only source on that is al nasser, who is the only person i trust less than mbappe lol. So forgive me if i dont quite believe or care what happens to either of them lol
@@90minutegoal Which he? Mbappe has not left on a free (yet) nor has he seemingly pushed hard to be sold immediately. It is PSG putting undo pressure on PSG, and blaming Mbappe.
Him saying “I am not leaving for free” doesn’t mean anything - Because it doesn’t mean he wants to stay at all. It just means “hey, if there is an offer coming in for me, please consider it. It won’t be my fault if I end up leaving for free. I don’t want to leave for free but if you don’t sell me, then I will leave for free.”
He wants to win the champions league and that won’t happen with PSG but is as good as guaranteed with Real Madrid. Although, I can see him going to Madrid and then PSG immediately winning the champions league, like when Coutinho left Liverpool
@@SouthJerzVillains I mean City won it by focusing on building a squad with a good coach rather than Buying players on the name alone so why cant PSG do the same they have the money to do so.
The player and club kind of deserve each other but PSG made the mistake in my opinion by giving him the contract and player power in the first place. They gave him every reason to wait his contract out, collect a huge bonus, and then move on
Mbappe has been clear. He said he wants to finish the contract. If PSG doesn't want him to leave for free that's really their problem. Why is it the onus of Mbappe to help al-Khelaifi save face? Always support player power.
With FFP (however much these top teams actually care about that), it makes sense for any player to want to move for free, so that their new team has more to spend on other players and has better chances of winning. It’s just smart as a player to move on a free, you get more of a signing bonus and but your new team still gets hit less hard than a transfer would hit them. Mbappe has no obligation to PSG beyond a professional one
Ffp is changing though and signing free players actually ends up costing more than transfer to clubs. Higher salaries, higher signing bonus, agents commissions etc etc
@@brushstrokes75 I’d be a little surprised it that were the case-the higher salaries for a free transfer vs a paid one would essentially be the same as amortizing the cost, but even then I assume the club still saves on a paid vs free transfer. Even so, Mbappe is the one creating value here, so he should be the one getting paid, not PSG, and he has no obligation to give up that value
@@samuelmason2703 it’s not when players are moving through free agency they collect a higher salary compared to when they would be transfered and signin bonuses and agents comission are a lot higher. It’s a myth that for signing a player on a free transfer comes down a lot cheaper than a transfer. Also accountingly speaking, signin bonuses vs transfer fees aren’t depreciated the same (unless i’m mistaken here). But from the perspective of the player you are right more money to you if you sign on a free. The fact is no club is matching the astronomical salaries he’s currently having at psg. No way madrid even pays half of that free transfer or not.
@@brushstrokes75 I agree that the wages should be higher-if the club is willing to pay $100M in a transfer fee plus wages, then they should be willing to pay more in wages for less in upfront fees. I just don’t know if from a leverage standpoint a player is able to extract all that value from no transfer fee in the form of higher wages and their own signing fees, so I would guess while it’s not like a team’s saving the full transfer fee they’re still saving some of it, or spreading out the cost with higher wages
@@samuelmason2703 in the old system 100%. The new ffp coming into place this season might change that. There’s a sort of “salary cap” type structure that is coming into place which might change that in the future. Transfers are depreciated other the length of the contract max 5 years (starting july 1st 2023) when bonuses and salaries are weighted on a yearly basis. Essentially stopping the inflation of free player salaries long term imo.
Nice video Raybona 👍 Seems like Mbappe has all avenues covered when it comes to PSG. Can't forcefully sell him this summer because he has a contract. Can't make him rot in the reserves because they're paying him a fortune. Can't stop him from agreeing a deal with Madrid for next summer because PSG offered him the +1 option themselves. I've never seen a club put itself in such a weak position.
I blame PSG for this, Mbappe played his hand well throughout, Nasser gave him everything to be able to have three of the biggest stars in the world at the Qatari team during the Qatar World Cup. Anyone wanting to buy Mbappe this summer just has to agree they won't go above 50m and PSG will have no choice but to sell him for 50m, or decide they prefer to lose him for free because the CL money they'll get is more.
Nasser didn’t give him everything - a solid team structure was what they really needed and he’s the part that they left untouched He’s complained about their transfer seasons before and yet they were still unfazed. As for financially - Mbappe isn’t going for less than 150M. That “everyone can agree to limit his price thing” only works in theory - in reality he will ALWAYS be desired by multiple clubs and as long as there are various points of interest there will be a bidding war
There this rumor that Mbappe stayed at PSG last year because political pressure from Qatar and Macron. Apparently, Qatar didn't want to lose Mbappe just before their long awaited world cup. This explained why Mbappe only extend his contract for 2 years.
Its quite an Interesting development how Release clauses have become the norm in Player Transfers and the sorrounding legal negotiations. Since players are not a good it is not them who inherently are priced in a certain way but rather their time of leaving before the contractually agreed upon end of the tenure. This is quite different to nearly any other Field of work, making it rather interesting how Clubs nowadays rely on the clauses as an income stream, but also having it as a usual expenditure. If you compare it to any other Field of work it is highly unusual - we'd never declare early on towards Our employer that we intend on leaving and vice versa. So I think - unless there is some legal agreement between Mbappe and the Club to not let the contract simply expire without renewal (which is a Clause I think would not be compatible with european labour law) - its basically a normal situation of employment. I think therefore that Mbappe does not owe any explanation whatsover and should only utter one if he has Personal intent to leave Paris with an undamaged Reputation. Otherwise: Pack up your bags and See whether Real will accept the laughably enormous signing Bonus you demand.
Nasser & PSG are the ones who rejected a TWO HUNDRED MILLION DOLLAR bid from another club, one that won't ever come again. Even if KM just signed the extra year to squeeze money out of PSG, they had the opportunity to cash in and they turned it down. Everyone and their brother knew what was going to happen this summer/next summer when they rejected the bid. The Mbappe's have bent PSG over a barrel and all PSG can do is not a damn thing 😬
Why is this complicated ? Even if Mbappe said he would not leave for free, it's still on PSG. Why ? Mbappe said he would not leave for FREE, he did not say he will not leave unless some team pays 250 million euros ! I'll have you know that 1 million is also different than "free". Ok, ok, It would be kind of insulting to offer only 1 million for Mbappe, but it's on PSG to demand a reasonable sum in order to not lose him for free. For example 80 million. It's not Mbappe's fault if PSG demand 250 million and no club is willing to match that. PSG can't turn to Mbappe and say "hey, no-one is willing to offer 250 mil, so you have to extend, cause you said you wouldn't leave for free".
PSG all but gave him the club, now their obscene financial flattery has failed. Yes Mbappe is like - to be or not to be, but PSG created this … they created fertile grounds for this situation to flourish.
The BEST IS YET TO COME for this ammazing young man. I'm happy to see Mbappe move on. 👍🏽 CHEERS 🥂... It's good for a man to know his worth. Keep climbing HIGHER & don't look back! 💪🏾 💪🏾
Also, he's allowed to run down his contract, there's no issue in him doing that, it's part of football, he signed a 2 year contract in 2022, it expires in 2024, Kylian Mbappe has the right to run down his contract, we've seen many clubs lose top players because they decide to run down their contracts and this is nothing new, he has the right to see out his contract and I don't see how this is an issue but hey PSG are a circus and the season hasn't even started and this is what Luis Enrique has to deal with and they haven't kicked a ball yet.
It is one thing to have these disagreements behind closed doors, but it takes the dumbest staff in the history of football to help get these squabbles aired to the public. PSG is putting undo pressure on PSG. It is polite and professional to let PSG know that he is not extending his contract with two years notice. How many years notice does PSG expect? 3? 4? 5?
@@ComradeOgilvy1984 the owners were aware of this last year that Kylian Mbappe wasn't gonna trigger the option to stay beyond 2024. It was originally a 2 year contract, what are PSG prison him from the club, he signed the contract, it expires in 2024, there isn't an issue with him seeing out his contract and PSG knew that's what he'll do, you can't force a player to sign a contract, that's not how business works in sports football in general.
@@tobaepebinuade5830 I was a bit confused, but it looks like it was a 2 year deal (with a possible extension at MBAPPE's option). Regardless, he did let them know several months ago that he intended to not invoke the extension clause, nor sign a new contract with PSG. I do not see what is unfair or impolite or unprofessional here. The only party has a legit small grudge is RM, which I am sure will get over this minor slight soon enough, and do what business is worth doing.
@@ComradeOgilvy1984 Same as well, maybe if he signs a contract, PSG can sell him next summer, because Real Madrid have the money for him and they're planning to break the bank for him, if Mbappe is still refusing to sign a new contract, they'll get him earlier than expected and PSG should let him see out his contract, this isn't a problem and he has the right to stay at the club until it expires.
@@tobaepebinuade5830 The drama has left Mbappe in the driver's seat. If he picks a club and comes to personal terms, PSG will be forced to accept 80m-90m for him. It would be nuts to let him walk away on a free. Most likely, it will be RM, because they have the stomach for his level of wage demands, and will not hesitate to go big if it is a free transfer. It would be fun to see him at Liverpool or some other PL side, but...not likely.
tic tac boys Something i'd like to add: Mbappe currently makes roughly 200M gross per season. 60M in salary and 2 loyalty bonuses, each worth 70M. One at the end of July and one at the start of September. The reason he keeps on repeating to looking forward to next season with PSG is probably because if he mentioned anything about leaving this summer he'd wave that July 70M bonus, which, according to most media he wants to see paid in full by PSG if he is to leave this summer. The general expectation seems to be Mbappe will leave for Madrid before pre-season starts for a sum anywhere between 180 and 220M. His 70M loyalty bonus will be split by the 2 clubs. That NAK is such a slimy guy though. Mbappe promised the club he wouldn't leave for free back in 2021. They then received a massive offer from RM when he had 1 year remaining on his contract, which PSG refused. Any reasonable person would agree that releases Mbappe of his previous promise.
Sorry Adrian, I couldn’t disagree with you more lol. There is absolutely nothing Mbappé is obligated to do. At the end of the day, that extra season was a player option. Key word “option”, meaning he can opt in to the extension or opt out of it. I think Mbappé is honoring exactly what is on paper. PSG were not only given ample notice but they had an offer on the table from Real Madrid where they turned it down. At the end of the day this all sits on PSG because, they did not need to include a player option. There are clubs that have strictly club option triggers built into player contracts so only the club can trigger the extension and not the player. The player in this situation is honoring the grounds of his contract. It’s funny because when players honor the contract and it’s not in the best interest of the club, now it’s the players fault which is comical. Mbappé and Real Madrid actually don’t have to do anything at this moment. PSG have to swallow their pride and sell him for a significantly reduced price.
Mbappe says he doesn't like playing as a striker so how the hell is he suppose to replace benzima? I think Madrid should sign someone else. Makes no this signing where will vini play??
As a Madridista, I definitely do not trust Mbappe. I feel like he is a mercenary that can only fit within an oil club's payroll. We need him badly but I worry about his mentality of as a player and Perez's obsession with getting him is taking our focuses away from other problems with the current squad.
Don’t worry brother, Mbappe is a Madridista at his core. It’s been his dream since he was young. Watch how he changes when he’s at a club that he loves. A lot of people forget how much pressure Mbappe is under from the entire state of Qatar and the president of France to stay with PSG & be with them during the World Cup. Once he escapes PSG I think we will see him hit his prime with Madrid 🦁
Lol u calling mbappe a mercenary is baseless.he played so many years already at psg and he gave his best performance every year unfortunately with no cl trophies to prove. Him moving to any different club would be a huge thing for that club
@ronin9296 just because someone is a mercenary doesn't mean he won't give his best, what do you mean? It means he values money first wich mbappe seems to do, because he stays at psg just because of an insane contract wich made him even sporting director. Mbappe will move where the money is, if it was about passion he wouldn't extended with psg. To be fair many of us would probably choose those insane amount of money too, but still
@@BaxsStudios first of all I’m not a big fan of mbappe and even as a neutral it’s certainly clear who had behaved as mercenaries in the past . They are those that will leave no matter what in search of glory and doesn’t waste time moving. You can’t deny that mbappe spent 6 years of his best physical years in psg and let’s not take for granted that players last long unlike Messi or cristiano.
Kilian is playing these clubs like a fiddle. He's got all the power in this situation and everyone knows it. He probably should let them sell him as a means of not completely burning the bridge, but I can't think of what PSG has given him other than a big salary that he could get anywhere else.
After hosting the Hyderabad E-Prix, winning the ISL now we have the football youtube goat himself Mr.Adrian wearing the jersey of my city! Truly the best time to be born in Hyderabad
What this situation ultimately points to is how broken the transfer + club financial situations really are. Clubs bleed through player wages and need to make $$ through player sales. Mbappe also has every right to follow the contract to the letter of the law - you know, the standard that all contracts are held against. Implication is that clubs sign players to contracts that are longer than they intend to keep player to profit, and as a player why would you participate in that without an explicit cut?
I think it’s pretty clear Mbappe is in a win-win situation staying silent. If he stays a year all he does is run out his contract agreed upon by both him and PSG while making ludicrous sums of money. If he leaves it’s because Madrid thought it worth it to negotiate for him and he joins his dream club a year earlier with a real shot at the champions league. This upcoming season. Don’t think you can blame him for sticking to the contract, if he leaves on a free it’s 100% on Nasser.
In any case, PSG and their sporting director are already a joke. Whatever Mbappe May have promised, surely a big institution like PSG wouldn’t just go by who says what, right. This is a business and contracts are there for a reason. They agreed that 2025 was an optional year right from the start. Even when that deal was signed and announced, I was thinking that he would probably stay there for one or two seasons and then move on… I suspect that he only signed a new contract after being pressured by Macron and Qatar but doesn’t matter. The fact of the matter is even a layman like myself knew at the time that the optional year was unlikely to be exercised… so if they genuinely just took his words for that, how daft are they really
Kylian Mbappe's chances of going to Real Madrid this summer 85% after what the chairman just said. It's crazy that he's been the biggest talking point of every summer transfer window, is he going to Real Madrid or staying at PSG, somehow he remains at PSG, and this soap opera is sickening for everyone and now PSG have said that sign now or we sell you and this isn't surprising, they've said this for weeks and now it looks likely that PSG and Mbappe will part ways this summer. In 2021, PSG rejected multiple bids from Real Madrid for him, and at the time he had 12 months left on his contract, and throughout the summer and the season, his future was a big talking point and he was on the verge of joining Real Madrid, but last summer he shocked the entire footballing world by announcing that he's staying with PSG and they gave him a 2 year contract worth around 700k a week and he was allowed to be like a hierarchy for them, play a part in their sporting decisions, manager recruitment sales. Many felt like Kylian Mbappe finessed Real Madrid to get a better contract offer from PSG, they gave him a contract that he couldn't resist, the money they offered him and the role of a sporting director and they told him that there's a project put in place at PSG. Since last year, we've known that he's always had the option to sign for a 3rd year, and he already wrote the letter telling the club, he's not signing the contract and in the middle of the season 5 months after this supermax he was unhappy wanted to leave again because all of his promises weren't fulfilled and he denied the rumors of wanting to leave PSG. This summer PT 3 Mbappe PSG, the club has told him they'll sell him if he doesn't sign another contract and he said that he's staying and seeing out his contract, he's denied all of this as well. Now the chairman has come out and said that they're giving him a deadline in deciding his future, their stance hasn't changed sign now or sell. Honestly all of this should've been decided 12-18 months ago and when he was given the contract extension, PSG should've been aware of the situation they got themselves in. Kylian Mbappe on 2 occasions was close to joining Real Madrid and PSG have blocked it not just rejecting the bid, convincing the player to accept a huge amount of money to stay, and also Emmanuel Macron the president of France was involved in this deciding a player's future playing a role in he decision to remain at PSG. Kylian Mbappe's decision to turn down Real Madrid was related to money and political pressure, because he wanted a Real Madrid move, but PSG gave him money that was too hard for him to turn down and the words with the president convinced him to stay and why is the president being involved in football playing a part in his decision. When he announced he was staying at PSG, many knew he stayed there because of the money and not everyone knows the full story, when PSG found a way to give him so much money and telling him there's a project and we want you to call all the shots and you can make all the decisions around here and the president having words with him factored all of this. I don't blame him for writing that letter because he knows that not signing a new contract, he'll end up at Real Madrid sooner or later. This is PSG's fault and they have themselves to blame, not letting him go to Real Madrid, telling him to stay at the club for a little longer, and they should've known that this was gonna happen, because he should've went last summer, 2 years ago, he didn't and now PSG regardless of what happens will still lose him this year or next year. Now with that letter, Kylian Mbappe is basically telling Real Madrid come and get me now and it was right for his own sake as well as his footballing career because once he's at Real Madrid, the better.
I think both Mbappe and PSG were foolish there in summer 2022. But PSG has no business blaming Mbappe for their part of this mistake -- they need to own that. 2 years notice, before even the summer began, is more that polite and professional in this football world. Did PSG need 3 years notice? 4 years? Deal with it.
Kylian Mbappe's contract situation is just very evident as to how poor PSG are ran as a football club and it's not just this year, but for a while, PSG are literally Hollywood FC, it seems like they cannot go a month without a new piece of drama going on around that club, PSG aren't a football club right now, the circus there is hilarious and it shows no signs of stopping and all of this Mbappe thing adds to the circus PSG has been for a while. This plays a part in PSG's failed attempts to win the champions league when whoever is calling all the shots behind the scenes, isn't doing a great job. For the interest of the player and the club, it's time to move on and part ways with this player, because it's time for Kylian Mbappe to join a proper club, play in a league that will give him more exposure, proving himself outside of Ligue 1 is very good for his image and more importantly playing for Real Madrid he can just get on with his business and be the best player in the world, I'm happy with the situation they're in right now because with the way they're ran, it's not a proper club right now and Hollywood FC happens every year of every month and they're known for the drama off the field than what they do on the field. Writing that letter was a smart move for Kylian Mbappe and he knows that the club has taken action and won't let him depart for free and whatever happens, he's leaving PSG for Real Madrid whether they sell him or he walks for nothing. When he signed that contract last year, I think Kylian Mbappe himself was aware about the reality of this PSG project and how there isn't a direction or proper football plan for the present and the future. Ever since the PSG project started they haven't come close to winning the entire champions league. They've only gotten to one final, has been knocked out of the last 16 5 times, and during this period where they've failed to win the champions league, they've spent literally a billion dollars on players have had so many superstars, they've had to break the transfer record twice, 7 managers have had so many that have been sacked, still has no European title to show for it, they've made so many terrible decisions which has created multiple imbalanced squads which have been difficult for managers to deal with over the years. He knows that PSG aren't known for being a serious club and have been incompetent over the years when it comes to recruiting and managerial decisions, their mismanagement has lead to this situation because instead of them to build a proper and balanced team a competitive one, they have signed so many mercenary players season in season out. Winning Ligue 1 alone a league in which we expect you to win isn't a big accomplishment, this player is ambitious and Kylian Mbappe knows that leaving PSG makes perfect sense for his career and making the move to Real Madrid and it will happen this summer and this saga is Real Madrid and his to control. As soon as Mbappe continues saying "I'm not renewing", Real Madrid are signing him and are ending a very long transfer saga.
You can definitely see the influence of NBA contracts over the years on Mbappe and I can see how intelligent and inspired he is from his recent addiction with American sports IVER the years. NBA stars have been doing these team/player options for almost a decade now which allows the team/play a lot more flexibility when either the player wants to leave 1 year earlier or more than likely for the superstars if the NBA, for the player to have flexibility to leave/put pressure on management to build a better team. I’m saying that Mbappe is no way at fault here . Yes he is placing PSG in a difficult position but he is not at all doing illegal in terms of his contract. He’s however made it easy for Madrid in terms of placing a “take it or leave it” deal regarding the price of the transfer as PSG must accept and agree a price or he will leave on a free
PSG's own doing. He signed a new contract last year on Kylian's terms because its pretty obvious Psg need Mbappe more than he needs the club. Paris also did Monaco bad by not selling to Madrid last year (sell-on clause). I mean, Mbapoe did give them a chance by staying to play with Messi. Now he totally proved to himself that winning the champions with Psg is almost impossible. He must feel lost, like what else does this club need to buy for us to win the Champions?! I have no sympathy for none of this parties. I actually wish Madrid the biggest and loudest laugh after Mbappe signs as a free agent and shove Psg to embarrassment. Money can't buy you class. Trophies and History do.
PSG giving ultimatums here and there but in the end it’s Mbappe who has the final word… they don’t want him to leave for free but put a price of 200M on the guy. No one is going to pay that.
PSG is the dumb party here. Mbappe simply took advantage of the fact that PSG gave him the key to do whatever he likes. who wouldnt. PSG is such a poorly run club. just with money
The club that, just a couple of seasons ago, signed the best player of all time on a free is now whining because they could lose a player for free? Makes sense (not). Best thing would be if the contract expires, Kataris don't get any money for the player and no club signs him due to his crazy demands.
Like.....maybe he expected a level of respect that the club would let him play for one last season and leave to a club he wants without prices just cutting out options
It's all a media game I don't know what happened and what didn't I just know I can't wait to see Vini and Mbappe toying with the defense of every club in the world
Real Madrid should put in a take-it-or-leave-it £100m offer. It's fair value, respects the relationship between 2 European supergiants, saves PSG's face. PSG must know that they can't force a bidding war because Mbappe won't go anywhere else. If they don't accept it it's on them, they lose the player next season, they get no money.
I think he wasn't going to leave for free in 2022, which is why he agreed to sign another contract. I suspect there were other promises, such as "win or sell me" because he has high expectations for himself. Expectations that are not being fulfilled at PSG. They didn't win, they didn't sell. Mbappe and Nasser are probably technically correct in both of their statements, but are misleading everyone because they are half truths.
Clubs use and refuse and sell and release players at their leisure and say "its just business". They now feel aggrieved because a player is the one who outnegotiating them. Get over it. Hes being paid to do a job and is under no obligation to sign a new contract so PSG can make money off him. If they want to sell him this summer that is their right, good luck finding a buyer in this market. Otherwise he plays out his contact and does what he wants thereafter.
Nasser burned Mbappe a few years ago, lying saying he would sell him to Madrid if he wanted to leave. Now Nasser is getting burned by Mbappe. Its karma
It kinda looks like Mbappe played PSG here. He got a huge payday out of them, always knowing he'd leave soon and get another huge payday at another club. PSG was naive to make the third year optional and they're now paying the price. More interesting is though, what will happen with Mbappe next. Surely after signing Bellingham Real can't spend 150 millions or whatever Mbappe commands as well. Who else would be willing to buy him this summer and able to afford what PSG wants...?
It was all a master stroke of genius from the Mbappe camp to force a move this coming season. PSG is practically a prison, they’ve put political pressure on him before and now to stay, as well as all but threatened his family. Playing it like this helps his public image, and forces his inevitable move to Real Madrid. Mbappe will be wearing a Madrid kit come the 23/24 season
Ridicilous take. I dont see how you can call PSG a prison when I cant remember any player stating they want to leave the club and not be allowed to. Kylian was offered tons of money, became the highest paid player in the world and was promised a team that would win the UCL, which is what he wanted to do at PSG, his hometown club. He is from Paris. The move by him now is impulsive after a poor season relative to their expectations, and now he wants to jump ship. The move now gives the club no choice but to accept a low offer from Madrid.
@@footballhipstertv don't waste your time man madridsta will only believe conspiracy theories and made up stories because they can't fathom the idea of a player not wanting to join they're "perfect" club. CR7 did will to leave that mess behind he was so much bigger than Madrid
What silence lol he sent TWO letter saying he wont renew and nasser came out and said ohhh im giving you two more weeks to decide 😭 they just want him to renew and are nawt listening to him saying he'll stay this yr without renewing.
The fact that a club like PSG thinks they can just decide when and where a player goes, is actually funny. good on Mbappe for deciding on his own terms when and where he goes next. at the end of the day, its the players choice if he goes now or at the end of the contract. PSG can accept all the bids they want, Mbappe decides if he goes and when he goes. "impossible for him to leave on a free" they said 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I don’t think PSG could legally do anything about it. I mean.. they both signed the contract, and you can’t force someone to sign a renewal. What are they gonna do? Not play him the remainder of the season? I’m pretty sure that would go against the contract they offered him which saw him as the focal point of the team. Mbappe is in the right here, and it’s unjust to say PSG’s owner is in the right. So what if he is known as the person who let Mbappe leave for free? He had offers from Madrid for 200m and he turned them down. Should’ve cashed out when you were up 🤷🏽♂️
Mbappe's been at PSG for 5 years and somehow he's been the biggest news in the transfer window every summer😂
he follow his idol footstep😂

@@kamranyaqub7151 I didn't count the loan spell
Okay well Mbappe promised he wouldn’t leave on a free transfer so Real Madrid put in a very nice bid for him and PSG rejected it. Now he says he is not renewing with plenty of notice. Pretty sure it’s 100% on PSG they should of taken the offer. You can’t just trap him by refusing to sell him and blaming him.
Ikr. They had the chance to cash out and they didn't. Its their fault. If they took the 200m from madrid in 2021 they could have re built the entire squad in so many ways

sorry but this particular one makes my eyes bleed
The real problem is the country of Qatar's Emir was a part of the approval process for Mbappe to be allowed to leave.
Mbappe also rejected it, he stated that he wanted to stay at PSG he even did a video.. which is why Madrid fans were upset at him
Lol right!?!?
Yeah y’all are both right unfortunately for PSG fans
Mbappe doesn’t owe PSG anything. He gave PSG some of his best years and they wasted it on a poorly run club. He’s had enough and getting out.
Yh he poorly ran the club😂

"I don't know man, I just want this to end." I think that quote at the end defines it for everybody: PSG, Real Madrid, the fans and Kylian Mbappé.
The only other "possible" option would be if the Qatari's buy United and approach him on a free.
Just like what happened with Mbappe’s idol himself last season.
What makes you think Madrid don’t want him ? Hahah mbappe moving to Newcastle is fucking hilarious. Premier league fanboys are so delusional

They gave him every reason to wait his contract out, collect a huge bonus, and then move on
This will they won't they already surpassed most relationship dramas in your average romcom.
Hey Adrian. Great video as always. Please can you cover what's happening with Canada and their national teams.

PSG logic: Remember the contact...yeah, that don't mean anything
Mbappe has been clear. He said he wants to finish the contract. If PSG doesn't want him to leave for free that's really their problem. Why is it the onus of Mbappe to help al-Khelaifi save face? Always support player power.
Whoa. Never expected you to take interest in ISL. I'm glad you bought Hyd FC jersey tho!!

Nice video Raybona 👍
Seems like Mbappe has all avenues covered when it comes to PSG.
Nasser didn’t give him everything - a solid team structure was what they really needed and he’s the part that they left untouched
He’s complained about their transfer seasons before and yet they were still unfazed.
As for financially - Mbappe isn’t going for less than 150M. That “everyone can agree to limit his price thing” only works in theory - in reality he will ALWAYS be desired by multiple clubs and as long as there are various points of interest there will be a bidding war

Mbappe doesn’t owe psg anything he should leave that oil club for free
Love ur channel and ur flow of every episode, best wishes and good luck with channel dude ✌️

Yes, I agree. Would like this debacle to end this summer, Mbappe should either commit to PSG or Real Madrid.
Sending love from Hyderabad! Keep sporting our stuff Adrian!
He will go Liverpool on a free transfer when they return to the champions League
The only problem here is Real Madrid doesn't seem as keen and every other big club wants to buy someone else.
Woah a Hyderabad FC Shirt on you cool so cool They are a great team ♥️♥️
Thanks for clarifying all this, Adrian. It's pretty hard to follow......😆

Something i'd like to add: Mbappe currently makes roughly 200M gross per season.
That 2+1 contract is absolutely influenced from the NBA player-option clause
What this situation ultimately points to is how broken the transfer + club financial situations really are. Clubs bleed through player wages and need to make $$ through player sales. Mbappe also has every right to follow the contract to the letter of the law - you know, the standard that all contracts are held against. Implication is that clubs sign players to contracts that are longer than they intend to keep player to profit, and as a player why would you participate in that without an explicit cut?
Adrian rocking my city's Jersey, love it
I think it’s pretty clear Mbappe is in a win-win situation staying silent.
Seems like a master stroke by Mbappe’s mother to get a billion dollar contract. It’s has been a decade with this nonsense
Talk about the golf cup god damn it
Love you Rabona!
Nah, Mbappe has them by the balls. He doesn't have to say anything. Maybe a loan will be the best they can do. PSG HAS to honor the contract
You think people have time reading this long ass comment of your?? Like seriously
It's going to be same shit every year I swear even if he leave I swear
Mbappe never loved PSG 😂 😂 😂
Does Adrian work for bleacher report? I swore I heard his voice in a vid of theirs
He’s however made it easy for Madrid in terms of placing a “take it or leave it” deal regarding the price of the transfer as PSG must accept and agree a price or he will leave on a free
a disaster of PSG’s own making. Hope he leaves for free.
You just had to troll grealish😂😂😂😢
Madrid should let Mbappe to show his moves first, while on the side saving the transfer budget for Mbappe to buy Haaland later.
PSG giving ultimatums here and there but in the end it’s Mbappe who has the final word… they don’t want him to leave for free but put a price of 200M on the guy. No one is going to pay that.
Can you do a video about poch and Chelsea have listened to his two interviews i like to hear your thoughts on poch
PSG is the dumb party here. Mbappe simply took advantage of the fact that PSG gave him the key to do whatever he likes. who wouldnt. PSG is such a poorly run club. just with money
Mbappe hate playing with his Back facing the goal. Just play him in his position as promise.
It's all a media game I don't know what happened and what didn't I just know I can't wait to see Vini and Mbappe toying with the defense of every club in the world
I agree with you totally on this situation and frankly I get bored enough with the whole circus of Mbappé .
Nice to see you wearing an Indian football jersey!
Its all the club fault for making the player bigger than the club , the contracts they gave him , control of choosing the coach etc
He should stay. Will earn more than elsewhere and gets 0 blame, while all the credit If they win the UCL one day.
as a Madrid fan, I really hope they don't go for him. he's good but not worth the drama that comes with him.
It never rains but pours in PSG. The never ending drama and shambles at the club is just as entertaining as Manchester United takeover story.
If messi and neymar said the club is trash then there’s some truth to it
The comment section side with Mbappe xD is Funny.
Real pulls the ultimate reverse card and buy Oshimen
Nasser burned Mbappe a few years ago, lying saying he would sell him to Madrid if he wanted to leave.
Now Nasser is getting burned by Mbappe. Its karma
Should have taken the offer last summer they deserve that
He keeps saying "Impossible" . That's scary knowing what those oil people are capable of. PSG definitely screwed up here.
What silence lol he sent TWO letter saying he wont renew and nasser came out and said ohhh im giving you two more weeks to decide 😭 they just want him to renew and are nawt listening to him saying he'll stay this yr without renewing.
fulham will buy him for 30m dont worry al nasser
This player embodies the Problem of modern football
There is so much mind games with this guy man psg should sell him don't try to keep the player who don't want to be in your club simple
They can't sell him. He has to agree to leave.
He doesn't want to be sold, he wants to leave on a free because he will get way more money.
You cannot force a person to sell to another club. 3 parties should agree
"impossible for him to leave on a free" they said 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Kylian Mbappe. Remember the name. 😎
Should’ve cashed out when you were up 🤷🏽♂️
As a Liverpool supporter, it's not gonna be LFC. Mbappe to LFC is and has always been a meme. 😅😂
Why would he want to join a club that is the dog of Real Madrid?
