I drove from my hometown 100 miles one night in my early twenties to a nearby place and found a local motel enough to afford for the evening. I didn't know what I planned to do but I was going through some mental changes. I stepped inside the motel and turned on the t .v. It was a live concert featuring A new contemporary artist named Yolonda Adams. Since it was gospel I kinda didn't want to watch it because I wanted to explore the nightlife of Austin Texas. Her voice was stunning and so captivating that I couldn't change the channel nor turn it off. That night the Lord delivers me from the filthiest things I had uncovered by forcing myself away. When I got back home I search the local Hastings for her gospel tribute album and explored her fenaminal career and ministry in song! It never grows old and I love it even more Today than I've ever experienced. Someday I will faithfully seek you out to listen live! But I am always blessed by your songs, ministry and voice! I said all of that to say this. Mrs. Adams thank you for being the celebrity that you are. You are a true blessing to me. You don't know it but you saved my life through your music. I am in glad health and thriving. I've turned away from sin and I bless God with all I have to give to honor and contribute to the ministry and church!
