Absolutely awesome, the way it blew past the RS500's was sensational, oh and the sound was just orgasmic, cracking in car footage....
Rs 500 don't get blown away that easy , drivers let them down ,,, probably scared to use them to full potential seen they are mega valuable
The DJR Shell Sierras were by far the fastest of all. Terrifying to drive though
@@gaz10182 like for real, you were taking the car the maximum in a group B race and most probably you would die
@@AJS86 its funny because not even those guys could stop the R32's undefeated streak.
Bring back the group A era ,,,, was by far the best time to watch saloon cars racing
@@bugattieb110ss group A rally cars were as good as Group B mate, especially the end of the group A era at total war against the new Kit cars class from french manufacturers
We might actually get lightweight quick saloons again if they require homologation cars
what a blyatiful homage build, props to Ricwood for building this magnificient beast
04:50 共石カラーかと思って一時のGr.Aレースが甦った感じになった!!
Driving that sweet sweet car like it wants to be Driven ! Hard, best video I’ve seen so far with the r32 on track. YES 👍🏼
Check out the footage from 2020 Goodwood Festival of speed.
The exterior camera footage is wild!
Final run boost is turned up, car makes 1000hp or so and slides at every apex
It's mental. Have a go.
Cheers
A fabulous, well sorted car with 'oodles' of power. Love it.
Waw...the sound
I’m pretty sure the driver qualify last just to enjoy the first 2 laps of the race by passing everyone
Godzilla be hungry.
Godzilla want more cars to eat!
I'm probably the first subscriber from Russia)
Love this car to bits!
Love this car, crazy AF
Light years a head of anything
Woooooo man it was getting light there in a couple corners!? Mine is still super OEM but is becoming a racer more and more. I can’t imagine it at this level!?
Rick he does no how to Rev these cars ! Go bud love to here his Australian V8 Super car too . 👍🏻😉👏👏👏
The coolest part is dancing with the Kyoseki R32 Group A car. Not sure if I am correct this Calsonic car don't seem to have the orignal Gr A transmission or the original Reinik engine setup?
The GTRs here in Australia had different transmission to the original Japanese ones too. They had 6 speed Hollinger here. Also larger brakes and wheels. By 1 inch
Back to its former glory
Was the race car at minimum car weight with no weight penalties like the cars were getting in the early 90s, it would be cool to see them racing at legal weight without restrictions
enjoy driving four you
how do you feel!grA GTR
from Japan
Last to first challenge Rick?
Feckin awesome
Nice subscribed
Easy to see why this car is Godzilla, looks very controlled to drive.
GREAT CAR GREAT DRIVING
Didn’t like that third gear did ya mate?.
Did I hear a blow-off valve?
No one wanted to race against that R-32 even if their cars were faster. Now I see why
You should watch Macau Grand Prix 1991 and 1992 to see how the DTM 190E EVO2 and E30 M3 lynch the R32 GTR.
@@CCP_zhongguo_sai_B The E30 lynching the R32? LOL. Godzilla eats Bimmers for lunch.
@@CCP_zhongguo_sai_B In its defence, that is a difficult track for passing. Not taking anything away from the Merc or BMW those cars are legendary as are the drivers. But man those times were the best races.
I know that the No.1 Calsonic Skyline GTR Group A car is kept in the Nissan Heritage Museum. What year is this car?
@@ricwoodmotorsport Very nice, we don't have many race prepped Skylines here in the United States. However a historics racing team recently bought three Nismo R34s and currently races one here in Historic Sportscar Racing. The GT500 class JGTC cars are quite fast. Only one 1971 GTR here as well. Be a treat to see a Group A R32 visit here stateside.
Skylines are rarity in the United States from what we've heard, we would love to bring some over in the future!
@@ricwoodmotorsport You'd love Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta then. 2.54 mile road course with elevation changes and twelve turns. It's best known as the circuit for the IMSA ten hour endurance race known as the Motul Petit Le Mans. My home track. Always wanted to photograph a Group A R32 GTR.
Compared with VR38, RB26 is the best engine
😆👍
heavy traffic...
Godzilla
And to think , the Aussie built ones were faster again
This one isnt restricted or limited to ~600hp, it can run up to over 1000hp when they want. Theres a goodwood video on this car, worth a watch. ua-cam.com/video/7iF--AheRm8/v-deo.html
@@lastexile1187 it won't be running over normal regs if it's racing. So probably 500-600hp here.
Unrestricted, yeah well over 1000hp at 2 bar.
@@cameronmilne3590 There is zero chance it makes 1000hp with the size of turbos it runs.
Even driving it that badly you can pass like they are standing still....
The driver wasnt even heel toeing into the corners. Would have been easier on the transmission and faster if he did
Surely if you own a Group A spec Gtr you could learn how to heel/toe downshift ?
It's funny though Jim Richards preferred racing the HR31 GTS-R Skyline that was the previous Nissan racer.
@@AJS86 Great car also , struggled a little against the Sierra's on power, but held there own
@@BarefeetB I can't complain with current GT3s though they're great.
Supercars is well gone now. Even 93/94 was better than now
Tem que meter um xtrac nesse carro!
In order to beat the R32 GTR, one needs a DTM 190E 2.5-16 or DTM E30 M3.
Bunyi macam enjin vtec
Fck Me, ruthless vehicle
Come on mate, 3rd gear isn't that hard to find on an R32 GTR! Many miss shifts.
Que lastima de coche, dios da pan a quien no tiene dientes😓😓

I just cant believe how violent it sounds at the limiter, everything else is just so smooth
I have been driving one with a limited at around 7000-7500rpm, and I never expect it because I'm used to higher rpm rb20det. Whenever that limiter comes it is VIOLENT lol, just like this. The video doesn't do the sound justice when it hits top.
@@Michael-jq5pf yeah my buddy has an RB20 that he hits limiter on very regularly at like 7500, very nasty, I do not redline my RB because I dont want to break the oil pump gears or crank collar, but It sings up past 6k, I usually shift right before 7k :)
@@Michael-jq5pf my mate put a rb20det in a SSS pulsar that had a stock engine to get it through customs and that thing had around 220kw fwd in the early 2000s it was a ball bustter in third.
@@Michael-jq5pf Factory RB26 rev limit is higher then RB20 and how violent the rev limit is it just based on how the ecu does the cut.
@@DriftNick I wasn't aware stock RL was higher on rb26. I know I had the cut set pretty low in my 26 but I hadn't owned a stock one for comparison and didn't care enough to look it up 😂 good to know. Love my 20 still, plenty of fun in the right chassis
