Sutton Coldfield Model Railway Exhibition 2024

Sutton Coldfield Model Railway Society hosted their annual Model Railway Exhibition at the Trinity Centre which is across from Holy Trinity Parish Church.
The following 11 layouts which were in attendance are listed below in order of being filmed

As one of the exhibitors (St Fayre Rhianne) thanks to all of you for your appreciative comments. And thank you, Simon for your film. (You caught my line when both the engines, stock and minions were behaving themselves.) We had a lovely two days, well attended and really enjoyable.

PS - if I may be allowed one small correction, St Fayre is actually HOm - ie metre gauge prototypes in HO scale, using 12 mm gauge track.
Many people confuse it with N gauge, TT having been off the British market for 60 years!
As for the name, say it aloud, wi' a Black Contry accent, ayer kid. People over a 'certain age' don't need the joke explaining, those younger usually do.. Still, it doesn't really matter........

Those trams are beautiful - very large scale, they have the heft and engineering to run and sound like the real thing. The mayor's wife, lucky lady, even got to drive one of them.
