진짜 연기 개잘한다.. 절망과 혐오사이 그 부분을 너무 잘 연기했음..
에고 연출에서 팔을 감싸고 있는 죄수복에 전작 라오루의 역사, 사회과학, 언어, 종교, 철학층 로고 형태의 배지가 달려있고, 마지막 자조적인 대사를 들어보면 아마 연기전쟁 PTSD로 해당 층 미덕(똑바로 설 수 있는 의지, 기꺼이 믿으며 맡길 수 있는 상대, 지켜내는 용기, 굴레를 끊어내고 공포를 직면)이 결여된 상태인 것 같음

Really interesting how he has the pins from the different floors from the library, wonder if Gregor has been there before or not (maybe like a love town returnee with the big fist arms)? Also I think the remaining pins for floors we don't see represent the 5 different fingers on his hand: Technology, natural sciences, Art, general and literature (cause blood) - super cool!
Yeah, it’s strangely present on his EGO. It might have to do with the fact he fought in the smoke war(as evidenced multiple times, even in the window of his cell), but maybe not. It’s strange….

Or maybe it’s cause he’s Jewish haha (In his book, and I wonder if it’s cause of possible themes of his story in the city and the things he encountered, considering he fought in old L corp spot, it would be interesting if he had anything to do with the now ruined Lcorp but I doubt it...)

Another thing is the coat/what the sinners wear in the art. While the others are wearing the Sinner jacket (Yi-Sang, Faust, ect.) or fashioned it into something else (Don and Ishmael), Gregor only has the stripes on his bug arm. Maybe that symbolizes that the City would be fine with him if he didn't have the arm?
@@skittielunaren6923 I honestly think that the scenery outside Gregor's window is NOT the smoke war, but what was happening in District 12 during the Library incident.
From everything we've gathered it seems that Outis will likely be our Smoke War veteran instead (this also fits incredibly well with who she's based on).

요즘 변신도 읽고있는데 진짜... 쩐다... 에고도 겁나 멋지고...
Would be really cool to see how exactly "The Metamorphosis"(the book inspiration for this character) is used here, since Gregor is more or less able turn into either a giant bug or a mix between human and insect depending on his emotions(from his description on the official site). I mean, it's obvious that his EGO is the ability to morph his body in a certain way and is on the verge of distortion, but how much self-conscious about it he is and how that will affect his relationships with the other sinners is unknown. With this, I wonder how he would interact with Don Quixote, Emil Sinclair, Hong Lu, Faust and Ishmael.
Really interested how Ryoshu would react. Considering as an artist, she finds beauty in thing differently than others.
And Sinclair would be funny considering he’s squeamish haha. (And has a colorful choice of words).
And I would really love to see how he will turn out. I’ll give him all the support I can.
Also, interesting to note, in Gregors book, he also was in the military for a few years. And isolation is present in his book a lot considering he didn’t have time for anyone else in his life as he worked a lot for his family. So….thinking about this…. What if the train, and us as the manager, would be the first time he could form more solid connections than he could previously in the past…? Idk it’s a fun thought.
I'm really afraid for Gregor 'cause they seem to go with very literal transitions between the original work and LCB, which means Gregor will probably be an overworked and cranky but overall nice fella, and those tend to get shafted real hard in The City.

Jokes aside, I said he seemed like the most well adjusted of the sinners back when his document excerpt came out, but now? I feel he just hides how broken he is just a little better.
Well the Insect part seems to be some normal body augmentation, as we have seen regular Goons in the combat trailers have simular traits. The Giant arm is his EGO, were he he goes beyond the Insect part.

어떤 싸움을 하신 겁니까 그레고르 씨ㅠㅠㅠㅠ 연기전쟁에 참전한 롤랑은 기억소거를 한 것 같다만, 그레고르는 하지 않은 걸까요? 그저... 그저... (말잇못)
팔에 사슬 칭칭 감겨 있고, 거기에 도서관 마크가 붙어 있는 점이 신경쓰이고, 손가락이 각각 도서관 하층과 엄지는 언어의 층을 뜻하는 것 같다는 점도 있지만
가장 신경 쓰이는 것은 여태까지 모든 수감자들이 입고 있던 죄수복을 그레고르는 입지 않고 있다는 점이네요.
대신 그 수감자복을 인외 팔에 칭칭 감아뒀어요. 이거 그레고르라는 사람이 죄를 지었다고 하기보다, 그레고르가 받은 실험? 시술 자체가 죄라는 것 같아요.
e.g.o 쓸 때 얼굴에 음영 지는 거 너무 섹시하고 멋있고 위험한 느낌 들고 진짜 좋다...

@@weaklingb5725 Nope, and it never was his VA as I knew right away but many people seemed to be sure it was Roland. It almost made me second guess. But, after a couple listen, I knew that it was Choi Han as he has a certain amount of gruff and laxiness in his voice.
ゴキブリ要素がより強調されたEGOかと思ったら、もっとヤバい感じになってましたね。何故縛られた腕に図書館の階層のマークがついているのか、腕が変異した後の指がそれぞれ何を表しているのか気になる所ですね～。
연기 전쟁에서의 연기의 근원과 검열삭제와의 연관성을 생각해보면.... 검열삭제가 연기의 근원 그 자체이거나 혹은 그 트라우마가 환상체로 추출된 것 같음.
그리고 시련은 불의의 사고로 환상체가 되지 못한 것인데, 청소부나 책 사냥꾼처럼 과거, 현재, 미래의 존재가 튀어나오는 경우도 있는데 그레고르의 에고 '어느 날 갑자기'도
라오루의 도서관 각 층의 상징이 있는 것을 보면 그레고르와 동료들은 연기 전쟁에 참여했는데 아인이 실험 목적으로 개입한 것인지는 알 수 없지만 코키토가 주입되어 변이된 모양.
동료들은... 영 좋지 못한 꼴이 된 것 같고 그레고르도 신체의 일부가 라오루의 도서관과 관련된 시련이 된 것 같음.
다만 현재는 에고로 어느 정도 통제할 수 있는 모양

推しである以上、真剣に向き合いたいけどあの虫は正面から受け入れられないから…ずっと恐々しながら待ってた。ゲームで会えるのが楽しみです。

Kind of random, but I think it would have been really cool if the timing for each of these premieres matched the time zone of the country each literary work is from.
Edit: OK, WHAT?! Why does he have the sigils from the LIBRARY of all places on his arm??? Not to mention that the fingers on his E.G.O _loosely_ resemble the floors not represented by the sigils. Gregor was already my favorite, but now he's easily become the most interesting character due to his E.G.O/Psychoment's very unexpected appearance. Plus, that "battlefield" imagery seen through his cell's window is most likely the chaos that was happening in District 12 during the whole "Library incident," since it matches the state of District 12 we saw in the last game (a lot of people seem to be thinking it's the Smoke War but this will mostly likely be _Outis'_ past instead). Clearly he has SOME connection to the Library and I can't wait to see what it is.
I have a small theory already, though there's very little solid evidence for it, so I'll hold onto it for now and see if something else comes up that hints towards what I'm thinking.
That's an interesting idea, but I think Project Moon wants to keep "Update Friday" atmosphere instead

That's interesting is in 0:43 we can see symbols of Binah, Hokma, Gebura, Chesed and Malkuth floor, so that mean Gregor was in the Library (probably with R corp) and he take his distortion after "resurrection" from book.
Edit: Or his arm is the result of an experiment in L corp (mabe this old one) because on his right arm he has a tattoo "Gregor" what can be reference to WW2 and Death camps because Franz Kafka was Jewish and PM mabe make reference to this or this is just my fantasies.

As much as I would like to say "Gregor Samsa is an overworked stand-in for all of us," I don't think that applies here?! Rather than becoming a big funny vermin for lapsing for a moment in his rigorous work life, looks like he was the subject of experimentation during the Smoke War. I know it's not 1 to 1 with the book, but I'm wondering if he joined the war to help his family with expenses, and was disowned by them afterward.
